Limping Elk pool Cleaning

Enjoy a sparkling, hassle-free pool with Limping Elk Pool Cleaning! Veteran-owned, reliable, and communication-first. That story stuck.

Serving the Inland Empire—start today with your first month free! In the old tale of Iron John, a young boy follows the Wild Man into the forest and is told he can do and have anything—except touch the pond. The boy disobeys, fails three times, and is sent away. Before he leaves, Iron John promises: “If you ever need anything, call to me three times at the edge of the forest, and I will come.” Later, when the boy longs to prove himself, Iron John gives him not the mighty steed he expects, but a small horse with a limp. It is a reminder: greatness takes time, discipline, and humility. After 20 years in the Army, Michael was searching for a new purpose. Retirement checks weren’t stretching as far, his children were growing older, and he wanted to build something with meaning again. Like the boy with the limping horse, he wasn’t ready to ride into the world with the biggest or strongest business. He needed to start small, work hard, and grow into strength with consistency and commitment. That’s why Michael names the business Limping Elk Pool Cleaning. It’s a reminder that every beginning feels unpolished—but discipline, training, and persistence turn small starts into lasting success. What began as a simple idea has grown into a service clients rave about. Customers trust that the team shows up, communicates clearly, sends photos after every visit, and handles repairs right the first time. Just as shining boots in the Army once brought focus and calm, cleaning pools now provides that same sense of order and purpose for Michael. More than a job, it’s a mission: to serve families with reliability, professionalism, and care, keeping their pools safe, clean, and beautiful, week after week.

We really do see it all. I honestly never would have expected to see a pig in a customers backyard. I was rolling out the hoses to drain a pool and all of a sudden I see this big guy walking around.

Taking in the views at our first stop this morning. I stopped doing this pool about a year ago because the owner didn’t would not take any recommendations. Today I am back taking measurements for new plaster and equipment. I’m grateful for everyone who has taken the time to teach me and have helped to fast track my industry knowledge. We all rise together. There is enough for us all.

RPM is motor speed; GPM is actual water flow. Your heater needs the right GPM to avoid cooking itself. We don’t "set and forget"; we dial in the flow for equipment health. 🛠️

It’s only 8 PM. There’s time for one more job right?

Last half of the day and we’re still nice enough to stop and make new friends.

There’s something about a dark pool finish that just hits differently.

It’s the "Dark Mode" of backyard luxury. Deep blues and charcoal greys look incredible: until they don’t. Without disciplined chemistry, that sleek finish can quickly turn into a chalky, scaled-up mess.

We see it all the time: beautiful dark plaster losing its edge because the water balance was just "close enough." At Limping Elk Pools, "close enough" doesn't cut it. We treat your water chemistry with the precision it deserves. We’re not just skimming leaves; we’re protecting your investment so that deep, rich color stays as crisp as the day it was plastered.

No scaling, no white haze, just a mirror finish. Whether it’s a new build or a classic, we keep your "Dark Mode" looking elite.

Let’s keep that finish flawless.
