Recently completed a 600 sq. ft. wallpaper installation for a client who was thrilled with the finished result.

This project came with its challenges. The wallpaper measured 27” wide but stretched to nearly 27½” during installation, requiring extra attention to maintain pattern alignment and achieve clean seams throughout the space.

Large projects like this remind me that every wallpaper behaves differently, and patience, precision, and experience make all the difference. I’m grateful for the trust my client placed in me and delighted with how beautifully the room came together.

“Not every wallpaper install is just straight walls and easy cuts.
This section took a little extra patience — working with one piece - around a sprinkler head, shelving, a door jamb, and an outlet while keeping the pattern flowing cleanly. It’s the small details that make the finished look come together seamlessly.”

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, moms, stepmoms, pup moms and anyone who is exceptionally stepping in as one.🌹

Wallpaper installation is all about precision and preparation. Issues like visible seams, misaligned patterns, bubbling, or poor trimming can affect the entire look of a room. Here are a few examples of what can happen when details are overlooked — followed by how a professional finish should look.

I focus on clean lines, proper pattern matching, and quality workmanship because details matter.

Just a few of the necessary steps to achieve this result.

My best advice- Be sure to read instructions, I can’t state this enough.
This paper by Spoonflower required wet sponge, before applying clay paste. And, a double cut seam that takes considerably more time but the results are beautiful.

Although it is a small project, it is essential to maintain high standards. You want to ensure that every detail, from around the trim to even just one corner, is handled with precision.
Note: The client will be installing bead board below the paper on one wall.

What a pleasure it was to again help out this family installing a paper, this time in creating a welcoming babies room for their newborn. They have gone through a lot with his 10 week premature birth, but now have him home. He’s growing so fast, already, just to get caught up.

This paper by Sanberg with its trees and animals can’t help but say “hello” little one.

Hoping only the best to them all for a lovely adventure ahead.
