Hummingbird Roses

Babies and more babies!!❤️
Now to keep them alive over the cold Michigan winter.
Bob and I were blessed to have a record propagating year for us. We are at about 2500 so far and probably 300 more soon. Seeing as how we only had about 600 roses last year, we are thrilled.
It is not easy doing this on a large scale. (For us) We have been challenged by pretty much everything you can think of.
And I still work full time, for one more year! Then I get to retire and give 100% to these youngsters. Yipee!!

To all of our customers who supported us during our first year selling again, a huge 'Thank You' for your business, kind words, and recommendations, in 2026. We will be closing our website for the season at 5 PM today 9/25/26, and will be reopening next spring in May (TBD), with lots more roses than we had this year! Our end of season 25% off sale has just a few more hours left, still with free shipping.
A lot of people still do not know we are back, and selling our Own Root Roses again, so please pass the word to help us grow and reach more people. It is really hard getting a business established! Your help is so very much appreciated.
Signing up on our website for notifications insures you will be in the first announcement of when we will be opening in Spring of 2027.
We will still post during the off season. Stayed tuned for pic's of Bob's current project: Expanding the cold frame inside our large greenhouse where the babies live during the cold/snowy winter. Yes, we spoil them!

Again, thank you for your support this year!

Bob and I are making our own Salmon Fish fertilizer. That was a smelly event!! Video to come soon.
My source in the Amish community I have been buying my fish emulsion for years now from, said once you use the salmon version, you will never want to use the plain fish emulsion ever again. 😆😆

Why does it seem like AUSmol is the red headed stepchild of the English Rose world? Inquiring minds want to know?
Is it the color, fragrance, what?
Honestly, I’m amazed no one wants to buy this rose. I think it’s lovely. I rarely hear or see it mentioned. Just curious
