When making deliveries with your puppy, make sure to give them some time to burn off the zoomies.

BTW, our friends at High Camp Wines have one of the most beautiful views and properties to taste at.

Tell them Rogue sent you. You probably won’t get anything, but maybe they’ll give you an extra splash.

It’s shaping up to be a very, very busy holiday season.

If you’re a client, get your orders in asap.

If you want to be a client, let’s get rolling!

It was absolutely wild coming across this picture today.

12 years ago, this month, we moved to Napa.

Since we could only afford an apartment, I wasn’t able to sand bottles at our place.

I would cut bottles while my daughter napped or at night, take them to my tiny storage unit to sand, go back to my house to wash them out, and then make the candles on my counter.

26 year old Chris would be blown away to see what the business has become.

How he progressed from that apartment and storage unit, to having a warehouse with employees, and, eventually, moving back to the Central Coast.

Then again, maybe he could believe it. That guy was always an ambitious MFer with huge goals.

I guess some things never change.

While we’re grateful to now have a schedule that’s regularly full, it hasn’t always been that way.

I used to do a lot more events, especially b**r and/or w**e festivals.

Before every festival, I’d email and DM every w**ery or brewery asking for empties, and offer them candles as samples.

The result? A whole lot of “no’s” and even more no responses.

Even when we moved to Paso, we reached out to every w**ery brand, and received less than a dozen responses.

With all of that rejection, we knew it would only take a few “Let’s do it” to make the business viable.

Here we are, 15 years in, full time for 9 years, and working with nearly 100 clients nationwide.

For all of you that said “yes” or referred us to another client, we can’t thank you enough.

Are you a restaurant or bar looking to do something with all those beautiful bottles you go through day after day?

Why not follow the recipe provided by our friends at Les Petites Canailles?

They serve w**es from their amazing list, save some of their favorite bottles, and have us turn them into candles.

It’s that simple.

Have some bottles you’d like to give a second life?

Let’s talk.

Too lazy for creativity. Which one gets eliminated?Sorry Hershey Kisses, but you’re out.

While slinging candles, I look up, and Aarón Sánchez and his wife are smelling my candles.

I ended up chatting with them for a few minutes, and it was rad meeting someone who I’ve watched on tv so much over the years.

Thank you for your business, Chef, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Day 2 of the Clayton Oktoberfest has officially kicked off!

Today runs from 11-6, and we might be here a little longer, depending on the crowd.

I also had some custom designs made and turned into candles, so grab them while you can. Once we’re sold out, that’s it!
