🚨 SCAM ALERT! PLEASE SHARE! 🚨
Magnolia Renovations wants to warn everyone about a page operating under the name Magnolia State Rentals.
We have received information that this page is asking people to pay a $90 application fee and then allowing them to schedule appointments to view rental properties.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE — DO NOT SEND THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!
Scammers are taking advantage of hardworking people who are simply trying to find a place to call home. With housing already being expensive enough, the last thing anyone needs is to lose their hard-earned money to someone running a rental scam.
⚠️ Be extremely cautious when someone asks you to send money before you’ve verified the property and who actually owns or manages it.
⚠️ Be especially careful with out-of-state phone numbers, unusual payment requests, and people who refuse to meet you in person.
⚠️ Just because a page looks legitimate, has followers, and posts beautiful homes DOES NOT mean it’s legitimate.
Magnolia Renovations is NOT affiliated with Magnolia State Rentals.
If you’re looking for one of our rental properties, communicate directly through our official Magnolia Renovations page.
🙏 I am asking EVERYONE to share this post. You may not be looking for a rental property, but someone on your friends list probably is.
One share could save a single mother, a struggling family, or someone living paycheck to paycheck from losing money they cannot afford to lose.
Let’s make it harder for scammers to take advantage of people in our communities!
Please share, warn your friends and family, and report suspicious rental listings.
