🐝 DID YOU KNOW? 🌸

A single honeybee visits up to 5,000 flowers a day — and in her whole life makes about 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey. 🍯 That tiny bee is working hard for us, and she needs flowers to do it.

Here’s the problem: pollinator habitat is disappearing fast. But here’s the fun part — YOU can fix a patch of it from your own backyard. 🌻

That’s the whole idea behind The Scatter Project. Every blend we sell is packed with pollinator-friendly wildflowers chosen to feed bees, butterflies, and the good bugs all season long. Scatter ’em, water ’em, and watch your yard turn into a buzzing little ecosystem. 🦋

🌱 Pro tip: wildflowers actually love poor soil and neglect. No green thumb required — just toss and grow.

Come grab a blend this weekend:
📍 Mineral, VA — Saturday
📍 Stafford, VA — Sunday
Plant beauty. Feed pollinators. Give back. 💛

🌼 We’re baaack! 🌼

We’ve been off the grid soaking up some much-needed family vacation time, but we missed you! Thank you for your patience while we recharged. 💚

We’ll be back at our usual spots this weekend:
📍 Mineral Farmers Market — Saturday
📍 Stafford Family Market — Sunday
Come say hi, grab your favorite blends, and let’s get those wildflowers in the ground! 🌸
Can’t make it in person? You can always order online and we’ll ship right to your door. 🛒

🐝 Wildflower fact: A single wildflower patch can support hundreds of native bees! Unlike honeybees, most native bees are solitary — and many species can only travel a few hundred feet from where they’re born, so planting wildflowers literally builds them a neighborhood. 🌻
See you this weekend! 🌱

Introducing Kennedy’s Garden 🩵🤍🧡

A custom wildflower pack created in loving memory of Kennedy, daughter of Cora — a sweet mother we had the honor of meeting at Mineral Farmer's Market

Kennedy’s Garden was made to celebrate her life during her birthday month of June, with each flower thoughtfully chosen by her mother: blue flax, white yarrow, and sungold sunflower.🌻

This pack is a gentle invitation to plant something beautiful in remembrance — for Kennedy, for Cora, for every mother who has loved a baby she could not bring home, and for all beautiful babies above. 🌷

This month we’re scattering
For the little lives held in heaven.
For the mothers who carry them always.
For the love that never leaves.

7% of each Kennedy’s Garden pack will be independently donated to the Star Legacy Foundation.

🌱Plant in memory. Scatter with love. Let beauty bloom.

☀️Kennedy’s Garden is now available at thescatterproject.com☀️

Giving back just got easier! 🌷

Our new wildflower seed shaker was made for the dreamers, the memory-makers, the pollinator-protectors, and the ones who believe even the smallest act can leave something beautiful behind. 🌻
Holding 2x more seeds than our original packs, this shaker makes it simple to sow wherever your heart desires — a garden bed, a quiet corner, a walking path, a field, or any forgotten space waiting to bloom again.

Twist, shake, scatter… and let love take root. 🌸

Because at The Scatter Project, we’re not just planting wildflowers.
We’re planting hope, honoring lives, supporting pollinators, and creating blooms that come back as reminders year after year.

Get yours today at Long Family Markets in Stafford or next weekend in Mineral OR shop online @ thescatterproject.com✨🇺🇸🎗️

Scattered seeds. Save lives. 🌱🌷

🇺🇸Military Appreciation Month! 🌹🤍🪻
Our Freedom Fields Wildflower Seed Pack was created with red columbine, white yarrow, and blue bachelor’s button as a way to plant something beautiful in honor of those who served, those we’ve lost, and those still fighting invisible battles.

🇺🇸 22% of proceeds are donated to veterans mental health because approximately 22 veterans a day take their own life — we believe that number is not just a statistic.. It represents real people, real families, and real brothers and sisters who deserved support.

🌱Plant beauty. 👮🏽‍♂️Honor heroes. 🇺🇸 Sow freedom.

Thank you to every veteran, every service member, and every family who carries the weight of service.
❤️🤍💙 🇺🇸🌻

🐝🌼 Happy Bee Day, bloom lovers! 🌼🐝

There’s a little magic that happens when a honeybee meets a wildflower.
The bee buzzes in for a sip of sweet nectar, gathers a dusting of golden pollen, and carries it from bloom to bloom—helping wildflowers grow, spread, and brighten the world around us. 🌸✨

The flowers feed the bees.
The bees help the flowers.
And together, they remind us how powerful small acts can be. 💛

At The Scatter Project, every pack of wildflower seeds is more than just a packet of blooms. It’s a way to support pollinators, bring beauty to your corner of the world, and give back to meaningful causes with every purchase.

So go ahead—scatter a little kindness. Plant a little hope. Help the bees, help people, and watch goodness grow. 🌱🐝
