Arethusa Farm Foundation in Litchfield, CT launched Adult Ed classes! Their first was a Thanksgiving centerpiece arrangement tutorial. I’m pleased as pie with how it turned out!

My obsession with led to an accidentally awesome, all-Martha day! I started at the book signing (get on their mailing list!) for the re-release of her debut cookbook Entertaining. She was just as you’d expect — simultaneously magnetic and intimidating. As someone who didn’t know about her until the 90s, leafing through her new/old book helped crystallize the genius on which she built an empire (more on my Skating Pond blog, linktree in bio).

Despite an overflow of sumptuous treats and sips at the event, my French-loving heart figured while in Westport, I should probably check out the new bakery… and guess what? Martha’s mark was everywhere from the products shelves to the menu! This icon still knows how to WORK.

A closer look. Finding matches for this Kohler Vibrant Brushed Bronze faucet finish wasn’t easy … even with all the advice on the interwebs! The light fixture we selected isn’t a dead-on match, but we loved the style of it so much we decided we’d live with it — especially since there would be distance between it and the faucet.
