Access control for building amenities is what keeps them worth paying for.
The gym, the lounge, the business center — in a Long Island City rental market this competitive, those are a real part of what residents signed for. They’re also the spaces most likely to drift. A fob gets shared, a guest becomes a regular, the lounge gets booked by someone who doesn’t live in the building, and residents start noticing that the amenity they’re paying for feels a little less like theirs.
Salto readers on the lounge and business center doors close that gap quietly. Only authorized residents get in, credentials are managed without rekeying anything, and access can be pulled the day a lease ends.
For management, that’s asset protection. For residents, it’s the building delivering what it promised.
