🥬🍤 Cajun Shrimp, Smoked Sausage & Bacon Stuffed Cabbage 🔥

Who knew cabbage could look THIS delicious?! 🤤🔥

Tender, buttery cabbage bowls loaded with juicy Cajun shrimp, smoky sausage, crispy bacon, seasoned rice, and colorful peppers, all baked until perfectly tender and bursting with flavor! Every bite is smoky, savory, buttery, and absolutely irresistible. ❤️

📝 Ingredients:

3 small green cabbage heads

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

12 oz smoked sausage, sliced

6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped

1 cup cooked rice

1 medium onion, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 red bell pepper, diced

4 tbsp butter

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2–3 cups water, for baking

👩‍🍳 How to Make It:

1️⃣ Prepare the Cabbage: Carefully hollow out the center of each cabbage head, leaving thick walls and an intact bottom. Rub with olive oil and seasonings.

2️⃣ Cook the Bacon & Sausage: Fry chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and reserve some bacon grease. Brown the sliced smoked sausage in the same skillet.

3️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables: Cook diced onions and bell peppers until softened and fragrant.

4️⃣ Cook the Shrimp: Season shrimp with Cajun spices and sauté in butter until just cooked. Set aside.

5️⃣ Stuff the Cabbage: Fill each cabbage bowl with cooked rice, sausage, bacon, sautéed vegetables, and a little butter. Reserve the cooked shrimp for the final stage.

6️⃣ Wrap & Bake: Wrap each cabbage tightly in aluminum foil. Place in a deep baking dish with 2–3 cups of water around the foil packages. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 1½–2 hours, or until the cabbage is tender.

7️⃣ The Final Touch: Carefully unwrap, add the cooked shrimp, and spoon the buttery pan juices over each cabbage. Return briefly to the oven if needed to heat everything through.

8️⃣ Serve & Enjoy: Arrange in a glass baking dish, drizzle with extra golden cooking juices, and serve hot! 🧈🍤

✨ The secret? That combination of smoky bacon, Cajun seasoning, and buttery cabbage makes every bite unforgettable!

Juicy Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi 🍤🧄🧈

I tried this garlic butter shrimp scampi for a quick dinner, and it turned out even better than I expected! The shrimp are tender and juicy, and that buttery lemon garlic sauce is so good you'll want some bread to soak up every last drop.

📝 Ingredients :

1½ lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on

5 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

2 tablespoons olive oil

6 garlic cloves, freshly minced

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

½ cup chicken broth

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon salt, or to taste

¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley sprigs, for garnish

🍽️ How to Make It :

1️⃣ Season the Shrimp

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season with smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper, tossing gently until evenly coated.

2️⃣ Sear the Garlic Butter Shrimp

Heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until pink, lightly golden, and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

Reduce the heat to medium-low and melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring for 30 to 60 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in the chicken broth and fresh lemon juice. Let the garlic butter sauce simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly reduced and flavorful.

4️⃣ Coat the Shrimp in the Scampi Sauce

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and gently toss in the warm lemon garlic butter sauce for 1 to 2 minutes, just until heated through.

Stir in the freshly chopped parsley and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using. Every shrimp should be coated in that rich, glossy garlic butter sauce.

5️⃣ Garnish and Serve

Arrange the juicy garlic butter shrimp on a serving platter and spoon the remaining buttery scampi sauce over the top. Finish with extra parsley for a fresh touch.

Serve immediately with warm garlic bread, fluffy white rice, or pasta. This easy shrimp scampi makes a delicious seafood dinner without spending hours in the kitchen!
