‘What the Hands Remember’

We are extremely proud to share this film.

What the Hands Remember is a reflection on the people, knowledge and quiet dedication that sit behind every piece we create. During our time in Nepal, we documented not only the making of rugs, but the environments, rhythms and relationships that make the work possible.

What stayed with us most was the sense that this craft is not simply learned, this truly takes generations. Passed from hand to hand, generation to generation, through repetition, patience and memory. Every gesture holds years of understanding. Every decision is informed by experience that often goes unspoken.

This film is a small glimpse into that world. A world we are fortunate to witness through the remarkable people we work alongside and the projects we are trusted to bring to life.

More than a document of process, it is a celebration of the human hands, stories and traditions that continue to shape the work today.
