A sweet fall harvest. 🍂

The dahlias have been enjoying the cooler temps, but the season is coming to an end.

I’ve been busy prepping the plants for weddings this weekend which means an early week harvest to let the flowers push a fresh flush of blooms.

It’s so amazing to have people all over Oregon come get our flowers and support this tender journey.

Anyways, just another day, blooming toward baby!

Was a fun evening attending The Village - A Community Gathering. A pop-up event aimed at bringing together resources for mamas.

We were able to have a little flower stand that helped raise money for our journey. The left over flowers were dropped at the stand in Newberg. So grab some while you can!

Adoption Update:

We are wrapping up our home study, and just had our second home visit today. Our social worker is incredible and so encouraging. Hearing her say “I can’t wait to meet your little girl.” Just made it all feel so real.

I fear I have made a mistake. 😅

Trust the process am I right?

There were many moments prepping for our first social worker visit that had me questioning all my life decisions.

So here’s a real life look at what organizing our house looked like. The good, the bad, and the very very ugly.

Thankfully we were able to finish this monstrous task, resulting in 2 truck loads to the dump and one to a local donation center.

To reward ourselves we had our house professionally cleaned and it was incredible.

Stay tuned for what our home looked like CLEAN! 😅😍

Nothin like a medical professional digging into every intimate part of your life to make sure you’re stable enough to adopt a baby!

Also an unofficial but announcement of where we hope to adopt from! 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

It’s a long process but this is just another thing done!

Next up! Our first home visit with our social worker!!

August is coming to a close but the garden blooms are just beginning!

These flowers hold so much promise. They are helping bring our little girl home, and every time I walk among the flowers, it’s gentle reminder of the journey we are on.

We will be having a tuber sale in September where all proceeds will go into our adoption fund.

Excited to share these beautiful flowers with you.
