The wood carries through from the bar to the kitchen, giving the two spaces a familiar connection without making them feel the same.

At the bar, it wraps the walls and ceiling around a pale stone counter. In the kitchen, it sits alongside white cabinetry and darker surfaces. We like how the same material can feel so different depending on what surrounds it.

The patio feels like another room of the house, with the comfort of being indoors and a little more fresh air.

The wood ceiling helps define the seating and dining areas, while the open side keeps them connected to the pool. It’s a balance that makes room for both a table full of people and a quiet moment on the sofa.

The ceiling height catches your eye right away. But it’s the seating, gathered close together, that gives the living room a more welcoming scale.

There’s room to take in the architecture, and just as much reason to sit down and talk. We like that balance between the openness of the space and the closeness of the people in it.

We couldn’t revisit this home without another look at that sneaker collection.

The closet, kitchen, and dining area show a different side of this home. Open shelving puts the shoes on display, the kitchen pairs generous work surfaces with seating, and the dining area brings art right to the table.

Looking back, we love seeing how much character comes through in spaces with such different purposes.

That blue sofa still makes us want to sit down and stay a while.

Continuing our look around this home, we’re sharing a few of its softer spaces. Deep blue upholstery, a quieter bedroom palette, and playful pinks give each room its own mood. Rounded shapes and layers of fabric carry a sense of comfort from one space to the next.

We loved having room to explore those differences within the same home.

Looking through these photos, we knew this was a project worth revisiting.

We loved working on this home, and it’s a pleasure to share it again. The living room brings back so much of what we enjoyed about the project: the generous proportions, the presence of art, and the way each view reveals something different.

A few moments from a home we’re proud to have been part of.

Five kitchens, five different personalities.

From bold natural stone to softer finishes, each design explores a different relationship between materials, proportions, and architectural details.

Some make a statement through dramatic surfaces, while others take a more subtle approach with cabinetry, lighting, and color.

Different concepts, different ways of experiencing the same space.

Which kitchen would you choose for your home?

The cost of hiring an interior designer is easy to see. The cost of not hiring one often shows up later.

Furniture that doesn't fit, materials that need to be replaced, unexpected expenses, and decisions that could have been handled better from the start.

Having an experienced design team involved helps you plan ahead, make informed choices, and avoid unnecessary expenses throughout the process.

And beyond the practical side, you get something just as important: a home designed around the way you actually live.

So, is hiring an interior designer really the expensive part?
