We are seeking experienced ✨Carpenters✨ to support our winter construction work. The ideal candidates will possess strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and be self-motivated.
Some examples of tasks to be performed would be:
🔩 Frame interior walls, soffits, and ceilings with metal studs, including layout, headers, bracing, and blocking for casework and wall-mounted items.
🔩 Hang and finish drywall, and install insulation, acoustical ceiling grid, and fire-rated assemblies.
🔩 Set hollow metal door frames, hang doors, and install finish hardware, toilet partitions, and accessories.
🔩 Build, set, and strip concrete formwork, and help with placing and finishing slabs, footings, and walls.
🔩 Perform rough carpentry, interior demolition, and renovation work in existing and occupied buildings.
🔩 Read plans and specifications, check dimensions, and bring conflicts to site leadership before work goes in.
🔩 Build and maintain heated enclosures and cold-weather protection so work can continue through the winter.
🔩 Prepare and maintain jobsites, including debris removal, organizing conex buildings and job trailers, and setting up scaffolding.
🔩 Load and unload construction materials. This position requires frequent manual lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
🔩 Operate hand and power tools as well as equipment such as forklifts and manlifts, and perform pre- and post-use inspections of vehicles, equipment, and trailers.
🔩 Monitor tool and material inventory, notify site leadership of shortages, and deliver or retrieve vehicles and equipment between jobsites as needed.
🔩 All other duties as assigned.
