Join us on November 12th at the Z Collection showroom for Made in PDX: An Art Show, featuring the incredible wood creations by Lila Ferber. Lila is a sculptor from Omaha, NE, with 10 years of experience in the field. Her practice includes turning on the lathe and carving a variety of materials, including wood, ice, stone, sand, and foam. She received her BFA in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute. Lila’s art focuses on intuitive processes, creating abstract and playful works inspired by organic forms. She enjoys spending time outdoors, where she finds new shapes, textures, and forms that inspire her artistic practice.

Stop by the Z Collection showroom on Thursday, November 12th from 12pm to 6pm for Made in PDX: An Art Show and experience the creative illustrations by Molly Murphy! Molly has 25 years in the tile industry and has come to love the pairing of beautiful tile and the camaraderie of her incredible customers. Her pen-and-ink work is now featured via magnets she’s displaying at the art show. Molly has also written and illustrated a book on grief, with an accompanying coloring book, and hopes to self-publish both by Christmas. She lives on a floating home on the Multnomah Channel, where the creatures and colors of the river inspire her art.

A self-named craft goblin who works with whatever medium she can get her hands on, the shinier and more brightly colored the better. Inspired to bring a little bit more whimsy, magic, and pops of color to the world. Raised by a family of makers in Ohio, now helping spread the weird in Portland.

Robin’s practice is rooted in a lifelong relationship with art and a deep appreciation for visual expression. Working primarily in watercolor, pen, and pencil, she explores emotion, perception, and the quiet complexities of everyday experience. With four decades of experience in interior design, Robin brings a refined sensitivity to composition, balance, color, texture, and spatial relationships. After a lifetime of collecting and living alongside art, she has embraced her creative practice as an essential form of exploration and connection that grounds, challenges, and nourishes her.

Join us at our showroom on November 12 from 12pm – 6pm for our third annual art show and learn more about the incredible furniture by Justin Smith! Justin Smith's study in design and woodworking began 20 years ago as an apprentice in Montana, while also completing a master’s degree in architecture at the university. Many splinters and adventures later, he completed a Mastery Study at The Northwest Woodworking Studio in Portland. All the while, Justin has been working in the residential architecture and design industry, culminating in the founding of Seed + Smith Design & Architecture with his colleague, Mary Seed, in 2024. Justin's knowledge and involvement in architecture directly influence his furniture designs and conversely, his knowledge of furniture design and making influence his work in architecture. *This is a collaboration between Seed + Smith Design & Architecture and Louis + Jig.*
