Aeration removes small plugs of soil to loosen compacted ground and help air, water, and nutrients reach the roots. Follow it with grass seed to help fill in thin or bare spots before colder temperatures arrive.

One neighborly tip: aerate when the soil is moist, but not soggy. And definitely before temperatures drop.

Andrew is making his mark both on the field and in the classroom! A member of Hempfield’s varsity football and basketball teams, he’s a talented two-sport athlete who also excels academically and maintains an impressive GPA.

Balancing two varsity sports with academic success takes dedication, discipline and hard work. Andrew is proving that being a standout student-athlete means giving your best in everything you do!
