🌟 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: KIM YEZBICK 🌟
Today we’re recognizing Kim Yezbick of Yezbick Real Estate for the many ways she gives back to the Lyon Township and New Hudson community!
Kim has been a longtime supporter of the DDA and has been involved with many of our programs and events over the years, including Music on the Grand, Goodies on the Grand, Lighting Up the Grand and more. She and her family are always willing to get involved and help support the community they call home.
This fall, Kim is once again putting that community spirit into action as the sponsor and volunteer coordinator for Scarecrows on the Grand! From helping organize the event to encouraging businesses, organizations and residents to participate, Kim plays an important role in bringing this fun fall tradition to Downtown New Hudson.
When asked what she enjoys about volunteering and giving back, Kim shared:
“I love giving back to the community that has helped to grow my business. It’s fun to plan and build something with local businesses. And seeing a project or event come to life is really exciting. I also love talking with people and hearing their stories about why they give back and how and why they started their businesses. Giving back whether by volunteering locally or with my networking group is so rewarding and I always leave feeling better than when I came.”
We’re grateful for volunteers like Kim who give their time, talents and support to help bring ideas to life and make our community events possible.
