This month marks the FOURTH anniversary of The Tailored Home! Recently, I was avoiding a task I didn't want to do and decided that it would be *the perfect* time to clear some of the photos off my computer (I'm constantly running out of storage because I'm slightly neurotic and don't completely trust the Cloud to store all of my precious photos) and in doing so took a little walk down memory lane. I was able to reflect on every project completed in the past four years. All of the clients who've become friends over months and months of collaboration. Some on multiple projects in the last four years. And every potential client whose designs didn't progress beyond the initial design concept. I remember their names too. Their homes and what their needs were. They are important to me too, as they have played a part in my growth as a designer.
As I wrapped up deleting photos, my trash was overflowing, but so was my gratitude bucket. I felt a wave of appreciation for the trust others have placed in me. It takes a lot of vulnerability for someone to welcome a designer into their home and allow every detail to be examined. Remodeling and purchasing furniture is a significant investment, and I am honored by the confidence given to manage and implement these designs.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave me an opportunity, who welcomed me into their homes, and who entrusted me with transforming their spaces. I also appreciate those who supported me in organizing and launching my business. Over the past four years, I have learned an immense amount.
Here's a brief glimpse of each project I've worked on during this incredible journey.
