Finally, this Market, we found a terrific source that has cordless lamps and sconces. It all works with an LED lamp you recharge. This will solve all those problems where people want a lamp but there’s no outlet, or we don’t want to see the cords. 😃.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀: A spa-like master bath in a Sea Glass motif. Our clients were looking for a remodel with accessible features, as the husband had recently needed more safety elements. They were looking for a space suitable for aging in place, for more efficient storage, better lighting, and ambiance.

The result was this beautiful bath with all the features they desired. Accessibility is accomplished with the low-entry to the shower, grab bars, moveable bench and a hand-held showerhead. The shower walls have easy-to-maintain large scale porcelain tiles. We used this material to mimic the look of expensive marble tiles. Shades of blue-gray, lavender, and mauve create a feeling of tranquility reflect sea glass colors.

A free-standing tub creates an impression of open space, and a heated floor banishes the chill on cold mornings. Our clients are pleased with this elegant bath, which now features a generous vanity, decorative mirrors, and sconce lighting while it’s safety and practicality were not lost.

𝐖𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐍𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐚/𝐈𝐨𝐰𝐚 𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐃 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫.

Our project for home renovation after a devastating fire has won a Silver Award. Though the fire destroyed nearly everything except people and pets, this townhouse had to be rebuilt within the original footprint. We maximized their space, and improved the lighting and livability of the townhouse. They now have space for entertaining and a relaxing atmosphere that's enjoyed by both people and pets.

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. In this project, the intention of the client was to transform a 15-year-old bathroom, creating the experience of a serenity spa.

Though not large, we used several techniques to create an illusion of spaciousness in this room. As an added bonus, these updates will improve their ability to fully use this bath, as they plan to stay in their home as they age.

Making our clients happy is our greatest joy, but it is also satisfying when our team is recognized for their work.

It's the beginning of a new year. It's time to refresh your home, and perhaps create serenity in your favorite spaces. Take a look at this project - we began a year ago and it's nearing completion.

Our client had a dream. She wanted her powder room to be updated and refreshed - without a major demolition. We came up with creative solutions to add character and beauty to this space without an extensive tear-out.

The client had fallen in love with an artistic mirror and wanted to use it in this room. Though small, we gave the mirror prominence and a bit of punch by extending the backsplash. We also used tiles in a complementary color, where the sheen of their finish played up the deep green tone and the texture of the mirror frame.

We replaced the existing vessel sink because the finish on the bottom exterior was failing. We found a new sink that harmonized with the color and textures of other elements of the room. It's almost too pretty to use!

Finally, the finishing touch was a new countertop. We found a quartzite countertop material that complimented the colors we introduced. The soft, gray and cream-white veining surprised us with a touch of the sink’s turquoise color here and there making it even more special.

We took a simple powder room that looked ho-hum and gave it a fabulous, dramatic finish. We complimented the client’s taste, and focused on using things she loves to their best advantage.

The thought of remodeling a kitchen brings to mind demolition, dust, endless weeks where you can't prepare meals, and stress. Our client wanted to avoid that drama and do a minimal update to a kitchen. Could it be done? Yes, and we did!

The 15-year-old home was starting to show some wear and tear. In this kitchen, we had several challenges. The cooktop was 36 inches wide... and there were no microwaves that wide to go above it. Another challenge was the existing range hood. It provided only 18 inches of clearance over the cooktop. Using large pots was impossible. And, the exhaust fan only re-circulated hot air.

The client wanted a new gas cooktop, and a wine cooler as well as a range hood that vented to the outside. We found a crew that would climb 25 feet off the ground to open a space to vent the new exhaust fan.

The existing granite countertop was fine, but we needed to open more space for the cooktop. A butcher block top was added over the wine cooler, extending the counter space. A shelf was added above the wine cooler, where the new microwave sits. The cabinets were in great shape, so we left them as they were. But, we took the opportunity to extend the update by adding a new mosaic tile panel in the backsplash and added under-cabinet lighting.

In all, simple changes were made that produced a big impact. Updating your kitchen doesn't have to involve full-scale demolition. Our experience allowed us to create solutions for this client's update. Now her house is holiday-ready, and we're pleased, too.
