🏠🔥 ON THIS EPISODE OF MAXIMUM HOME IMPROVEMENTS! 🔥🏠

Another beautiful roof replacement completed, and you already know—we took this one TO THE MAX! 💪🔨

For this project, we installed a complete Owens Corning Roofing System featuring the stunning Peppercorn shingle color!

But at Maximum Home Improvements, it’s not just about making a roof look great. It’s about building it right and providing MAXIMUM PROTECTION! 🏠💪

✅ FULL ROOF RE-DECKING: The existing roof decking had gaps of ¼ inch and larger, so we installed new plywood over the entire roof to create a solid, secure surface for proper shingle installation.

✅ UPGRADED ICE & WATER PROTECTION: We upgraded to Owens Corning WeatherLock Flex Ice & Water Barrier for maximum protection against water infiltration and harsh New England weather!

✅ IMPROVED ATTIC VENTILATION: We built a new soffit system to improve airflow through the attic space, helping the roofing system breathe properly.

✅ EXTRA WALL PROTECTION: Since we’re also replacing the siding on this home, we took the extra steps to prepare everything correctly. We extended the ice and water barrier 8 inches up the walls and installed new step flashing for maximum protection where the roof meets the house!

🔥 AND WE’RE NOT DONE YET! 🔥

COMING UP NEXT ON THIS PROJECT: We’re transforming the exterior with brand-new siding on both the HOUSE AND GARAGE!

Stay tuned because you won’t want to miss this transformation from start to finish! 👀🏠

📍 Plainville, Connecticut

Another roof taken to the MAX! 💪🔥

This home suffered significant hail damage, requiring a complete roof replacement. But once we started removing the existing roofing system, we discovered another major issue!

🚨 The existing 3/8-inch plywood roof decking was weak and deteriorating, raising serious structural and code-compliance concerns.

We removed the inadequate decking and upgraded the roof with new 1/2-inch plywood, providing a stronger, solid foundation that meets applicable Connecticut building code requirements.

🔥 THE MAXIMUM UPGRADE!

✅ Complete hail-damaged roof replacement
✅ New 1/2-inch plywood roof decking
✅ Owens Corning Duration shingles in Onyx Black 🖤
✅ Upgraded Owens Corning WeatherLock Flex Ice & Water Barrier
✅ Enhanced protection against ice dams and water infiltration
✅ A complete roofing system built for strength, durability, and long-term performance!

At Maximum Home Improvements LLC, we don’t just replace shingles. We make sure what’s underneath is built to last!

We added some custom finishing touches to our latest remodeling project!

In the pantry closet, we installed custom shelving along with a custom wood countertop, finished with a clear polyurethane coat to protect the wood and bring out its natural character. The remaining shelving was finished in a clean white for a sharp, finished look.

In the primary bathroom closet, we built custom shelving and hanging areas designed to keep clothing separated, organized, and easy to access.

Another project coming together one detail at a time.
