Same view point just taken with 0.5 and 1.0 camera view.

Seeing it go from a proposed tape line to an almost complete area is pretty cool. Just thought I’d share a progress picture 🤷‍♂️

Some snippets from the current project has been a ton of work from demo to floors, doors, casings, trim and drywall and the list goes on. Still very much a work in progress.

Bathroom and shower remodel after this one and then hopefully some much needed time off/ vacation. It’s been non-stop lately. I love it but need to make time for myself and family too.

September is open for projects, so get with me, refer a friend, share the word.

Hello everyone,

Been awhile, so I figured I’d hop on here and share one of the projects we recently wrapped up.

From the outside, this looked like a pretty simple bathtub surround replacement. As usual though, the “simple” jobs have a way of keeping you on your toes.

Once everything was torn out, we found the subfloor had to be completely replaced. It ended up being caused by a tiny pinhole leak in the water line feeding the outside hose bib. Since it only leaked when the hose was being used, it had gone unnoticed for quite some time and had been spraying the underside of the tub every time someone watered the yard or filled the pool.

To make things a little more interesting, this home has a 54-inch tub instead of the standard 60-inch. They’re not nearly as common, and finding a matching surround isn’t as simple as running to the store. We ended up waterproofing everything with GoBoard and finishing it with interlocking wall panels, and I think it turned out great.

It’s always the jobs that seem the simplest at first that end up throwing the biggest curveballs. That’s just part of remodeling.

At a standstill on a couple of current projects while we wait on corrected materials for one and painters to finish up at another, so we took the opportunity to tie up a few loose ends.

Today that meant getting the final trim installed on this shower now that the walls have been painted.

This one is officially wrapped up and ready to enjoy.

I’m tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. One more project in the books.

Get with me and let’s get you scheduled for your project. Currently scheduling for August.

Another demo completed, unfortunately this one is going to require most the subfloor to be cut out and replaced. Some of the framing has some staining, but I’m confident that it’s not been compromised. The leak was being caused by a pinhole in the frost free sillcock pipe, and so I found it to only be actively leaking anytime the hose was on.

Spent a couple hours doing a demo this morning. Have a couple other jobs to take care of so by the time materials arrive for this one it should be perfect timing.

They have multiple bathrooms, so it worked out doing the demo ahead of time. I actually prefer this method if possible and this is going to be another pretty bathroom 😍

Same bathroom. Same footprint. Just a little vision and a whole lot of hard work.

Customer is taking care of the paint, I’ll come back to add the finishing tile trim, and this one is about wrapped up.

Grateful for every opportunity to turn someone’s “before” into their “after.”

Sunday update:

Wall tile is complete.

Tomorrow is niche and trim day, then grout Tuesday.

These customers have been an incredible blessing. They've fed me better than I feed myself, encouraged me throughout the project, and have continued putting my name out there to their friends and family.

I'm thankful for every opportunity that comes my way. I don't take any of it for granted.

One project at a time. One relationship at a time.

Back at it tomorrow 🖤
