This goose was up early cheering on our marathon runners today in Paducah! He was very inspired by their efforts and thought they all looked amazing out there!!!

We will be open this weekend Saturday 9am to 2pm and Sunday 11am to 3pm . Keep in mind the 1st Paducah Marathon is happening on Saturday so things might be a little busy downtown that day. We are running low on 24" painted geese but will have more in a few weeks. We are located in the garage behind the house so pull into the driveway and head on back for easy loading ( especially if you get a big goose). You also will want to bring an old towel or blanket to put your goose on. We hope to see you soon!

These 2 cuties look like they are up to something for sure!!! Come see us on Saturday 9am to 2pm or Sunday 11am to 3pm to see if we have figured out what they are planning :) we are located in the garage behind the house so just pull in and head back for easy load in. Bring an old towel or blanket if you plan to get a concrete goose. See you then!!

Great news!! Connie has been recovered and is home safe!

🪿 ‼️ UPDATE: CONNIE IS HOME ‼️ 🪿

Case closed! Connie Confluence has been safely recovered and has returned to her post!

Paducah Police Department called with the news that she was found abandoned at the farmer’s market and taken into custody for safekeeping.

We reported to the station, positively identified her (are there other porch goose cold cases??), and signed her out of the evidence locker.

She is in good spirits, refusing to explain her mysterious evening, and already back to her full-time duties of guarding the River Discovery Center.

Everyone be on the lookout for Connie Confluence the greeter goose at the River Discovery Center !!!

🚨 ‼️ BOLO: Missing Porch Goose ‼️ 🚨

📍Missing person: Connie

📍Species: Goose (concrete, 100% non-flight-risk)

📍Last Seen: Guarding the front porch of the River Discovery Center, located at 117 S. Water Street, on the evening of September 30th.

📍Distinguishing Features: White, orange beak, and recently undressed for the evening 😧

📍Details of the incident: Sometime between 7pm-8am, Connie was taken from her post without a struggle (she is, after all, a very stoic goose). No ransom note has been received. Authorities have found no leads.

📍Suspect description: Unknown. Considered armed with sticky fingers and a questionable sense of humor.

📍Is She Dangerous?
Absolutely not. She has NEVER honked at anyone and has no criminal record.
