I want to share a bit about my gardening
journey on the Big Island! 🌱🌋
I have always been a gardener, so was my mom and my grandma so it runs in the family 🌺
I had a stunning garden on Oahu and now I’m going to have one on Big Island 🥲
I don’t offer gardening services at the moment as you can see on my website (link in bio). I currently have very few lucky clients who get to have me as a gardener and that’s my limit. It’s very hard work and there’s a lot of rain over on this side of island so scheduling around everything else I do can be tricky. I have been very busy and am open to a possibility for flexible indoor projects. Please, see website and reach out to chat if you would like to!

Colorful and bright or moody and trendy???
As long as it’s not all white and dull!!! I worked at pottery barn for sometime and had my all white dull phase which was also a trend at the time highly influenced by major retailers and Joanna Gaines types 😑
Glad I came to my senses.

I got to do this bathroom twice! Because… seasons! 🤭

A reminder that some cleaning, organizing, proper art, furniture placement and some wall paint can give you that new home feeling! I can do it all! In most projects I’ve done the goal was to work with what was already in the space but make it make sense and be appealing. There is not a need to go buy all new things.
My biggest issue is the homes I’ve done ended up so nice and I get attached! 🥲🏡✨

This was one of the most epic things I’ve created 😍
A dead bonsai tree still with roots floating upside down from the ceiling with added glass flowers!
I was so mesmerized by it. I just stood there looking at it for an hour as it spun around. Just as the orange was inspired by lava, the red branches remind me of an eruption as well.

Painting palm leaves and doing an art installation for a client! The home was very open and hard to define spaces with very high ceiling so I installed the art on ceiling with intention to separate area, add character to the island flavor and as an opportunity to repeat the red and orange accents throughout the home. The palm leaves on the wall created a perfect transition for the living space and softened the harsh straight lines 🌋✨
Hanging on the ceiling took lots of figuring out as the weight and string shifted the balance of leaves and I did not want to put more holes than necessary on the ceiling as it was not being repainted 😳
