What a whirlwind of a weekend! Two weddings, and one of them being one of our own right here at the farm!

Honey Bee loves her nighttime cuddles!
There’s nothing better than ending the day with snuggles from this sweet girl. She may be growing like a w**d, but she will always be our baby! 🥰🐶

Our egg fridge will be restocked on Thursday instead of this Saturday!

Between preparing our Harvest Box subscriptions, shorter daylight hours, the start of molting season, and being behind from the loss of our winter laying chicks that were stolen, our egg production has slowed down quite a bit.

During peak season, we were collecting 7–8 dozen eggs a day. We’re now averaging about 3 dozen a day. That’s quite a difference!

As the days get shorter and our girls go through their natural seasonal changes, egg production naturally slows down. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work with what our girls are giving us. ❤️

Thank you for continuing to support our little family farm. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

I honestly can’t believe Honey Bee is already 4 months old! 🐾💛

Life on the farm definitely hasn’t been the same since this girl came along. She keeps us on our toes, keeps us laughing, and has completely stolen our hearts.

And after a busy day of puppy adventures and farm chores, there’s nothing she loves more than her nightly snuggles. 🥰

We sure love this girl!

We had visitors show up at the farm in a little black car asking if we have white chickens for sale or sheep for sale… we told them no, and they persisted.

What makes this even more concerning is that the same questions were asked the last time our chickens were stolen.

Let’s just say… things are locked up, cameras are on, we’re paying attention, and so are the neighbors!

Lots happening today at Miller Farm! 🌻🐓🍅

First, we’re excited to be participating in the Farm Stand Hop, sponsored by Kountyline Kottage, they are located in Hannibal! Be sure to stop by and check out all the participating farm stands!

We are also busy in the kitchen today making and processing ketchup, while keeping the farm stand stocked with some fresh vegetables, strawberry syrup, eggs, pancake mix and maple syrup.

We are getting everything ready for our September Harvest Boxes and in between all of that, squeezing in a few wedding projects and planning!

Needless to say, it’s a very busy Saturday here at Miller Farm!
