How we seal shower glass with silicone:

A proper silicone edge is one of the most important finishing steps in a shower install. It protects the space and keeps everything performing the way it should.

Simple breakdown of the process:

1. Clean and prep the surface: All glass and tile edges are cleaned and dried so the silicone bonds properly.

2. Apply a consistent bead: Silicone is carefully applied along the glass edge where it meets tile or curb.

3. Tool the joint smooth: The bead is smoothed for a clean finish and full contact on both surfaces.

4. Allow proper cure time: The seal is left to cure so it can fully lock out moisture and hold long term.

A clean silicone line is not just cosmetic, it is a key part of a long lasting waterproof system.

The final detail makes the difference. A smooth silicone joint along the shower tile completes the waterproofing and delivers a clean finish. Shoe covers are part of our process too, keeping every space protected while we work.
