A refreshed space can make a meaningful difference in how patients experience care.

DFDG recently completed a 1,350-SF renovation for Valleywise Health, reimagining the clinic's existing spaces to create a more welcoming, functional environment for patients and staff.

From updated registration and waiting areas to refreshed exam rooms, clinical workspaces, and corridors, the improvements bring new life to the clinic while making better use of its existing footprint. A redesigned entry canopy also creates a more welcoming first impression for patients arriving for care.

Renovating an active healthcare facility requires thoughtful planning and coordination. Working alongside Caliente Construction Inc, the team approached the project in phases, allowing the clinic to remain fully operational while improvements took shape around its daily operations.

The result is a refreshed healthcare environment that supports the people providing care and the community they serve.

Congratulations to DFDG's Staci Seyer on receiving the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Construction Specifications Institute at its 2026 National Conference!

This prestigious national recognition celebrates Staci's exceptional leadership as President of the CSINext Chapter, where her data-driven approach to program promotion and engagement led to a 459% increase in program attendance over the course of the year. Staci was one of only two recipients of this prestigious national award this year.

Through proactive coordination of program topics and presenters, expanded outreach through social media and partner organizations, and consistent month-over-month tracking, Staci helped grow engagement in a meaningful way, including bringing 10 new members into CSI and CSINext.

We are proud to see Staci's leadership, initiative, and impact recognized on a national stage. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!

Brian's approach to architecture starts with a simple idea: better tools can lead to better work.

As an Architectural Associate & AI Integration Lead at DFDG, Brian brings experience in multifamily, mixed-use, workplace and healthcare projects, along with a strong background in Revit, BIM coordination, automation and emerging design technology. His role blends project work with developing tools and workflows that make everyday processes more efficient.

Brian earned his undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his master’s degree from Arizona State University, where he received three design excellence awards. He is currently completing his ARE licensure with the goal of becoming licensed by the end of 2026.

His interest in design technology grew from a simple question: how can repetitive tasks be done better? After teaching himself to code, Brian built a Revit automation platform containing 100 tools that was deployed at his old firm, an experience that reshaped the way he thinks about architectural workflows and problem-solving.

Outside the office, Brian enjoys working out, spending time outdoors, watching sports, playing recreational soccer and volleyball, and keeping up with new technology in the architecture industry. As he continues exploring how automation can support the profession, his goal is to help architects spend less time on repetitive work and more time designing, coordinating and making meaningful decisions.

Welcome to the team, Brian!

The true measure of integrity often shows up when a challenge arises.

For Stephany, one of the things that has stood out during her time at DFDG is how those moments are handled. Rather than avoiding a difficult conversation, the approach is simple: pick up the phone, meet face-to-face, listen, and understand the facts before finding a way forward together.

She has seen that approach modeled by DFDG’s leadership and carried throughout the office. Honest, respectful communication creates an environment where people can have difficult conversations, work through problems, and maintain the trust that strong relationships are built on.

To Stephany, that’s what makes integrity such an important part of DFDG’s culture. It’s choosing honesty even when the conversation isn’t easy and knowing that how we navigate challenges matters just as much as the solution itself.

Because when we lead with integrity, we don’t just solve problems, we build relationships that last.

A long-awaited new home for justice in Mohave County.

After 25 years operating from temporary space, the Cerbat Justice Court has moved into the newly renovated Mohave County Court Annex in downtown Kingman. The Annex creates a more welcoming, functional setting for court staff and the public, with two new courtrooms, judges’ chambers, an updated clerk counter and work area, and a new grand entrance.

Designed in association with Selberg Associates, Inc. Architecture & Planning and built by Concord General Contracting, the renovation gives the Court the space, technology, privacy, and efficiency needed to better serve the community for years to come.

More than a renovation, the Annex marks a meaningful next chapter for the Cerbat Justice Court and the people it serves.

As a recent graduate, Mackenzie brings a fresh perspective to interior design and a curiosity that continues to grow with every project.

As an Interior Designer at DFDG, she enjoys seeing a design develop from beginning to end and working through the challenges that come with turning ideas into thoughtful, functional spaces. Her experience includes residential, hospitality and higher education design, supported by strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills.

Mackenzie recently earned her BS in Interior Design from Arizona State University, graduating with honors, and is currently working toward NCIDQ certification. Sustainable design is an important part of her approach, with an emphasis on understanding how design decisions affect both people and the environment.

One project that stands out from her time at ASU was an art therapy project where she took on a leadership role, helping guide her team’s design vision from concept through completion. The experience strengthened her communication and organization skills and reinforced something she continues to carry into her career: growth often comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone.

Outside the office, you’ll catch Mackenzie at the gym, hunting for a good thrift find, heading to a concert or movie, or spending time with friends.

Welcome to the team Mackenzie!

This National Construction Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating the contractors who help turn design into reality.

From early coordination through construction, strong partnerships are essential to delivering spaces that serve our communities and stand the test of time. We’re proud to build alongside our contractor partners on projects across Arizona.

Swipe through to see a few of the projects that are currently under construction.

Here’s to great work and the teams who make it happen.

As the new school year starts, the students at Arizona Austism Charter School’s Tucson campus get to experience the new life that DFDG’s design brought to their learning spaces.

DFDG recently completed a tenant improvement, transforming several underutilized spaces into six classrooms, a meeting room, storage and new accessible restrooms. The project also included a fenced outdoor area planned for a future playground.

Working with Arizona Autism Charter Schools and contractor SD Crane Builders, Inc., the team focused on making the most of the existing campus and creating functional spaces ready to support students and staff this school year.

With this phase complete, work is already moving forward on the next set of improvements. DFDG is continuing with Arizona Autism Charter School to add a secure lobby, two conference rooms and new office space, building on the updates already completed across the campus.

Being invested means caring about more than your own piece of the project, it means feeling connected to the outcome and to the people working alongside you.

For Nava Bitaab, that sense of ownership is what makes the work at DFDG meaningful. She sees the success of a project, a client relationship, or the firm itself as something shared, not something tied to one person or one role.

That mindset often means stepping in where she can add value, whether it’s offering additional analysis, helping strengthen a presentation, supporting a teammate, or contributing an idea that can improve the project.

What Nava appreciates most about DFDG is that this kind of initiative is encouraged. Leadership is open to ideas, and team members are trusted to contribute beyond the boundaries of their day-to-day responsibilities.

For Nava, being invested means treating every project as if it were her own and taking pride in the success we create together. It’s that shared sense of ownership that makes her proud to be part of DFDG.

Steven Still brings a career shaped by complex projects, collaboration and a belief that good architecture should serve the communities around it.

As a Senior Project Manager at DFDG, Steven brings experience across aviation, civic and municipal work, leading projects of all sizes and schedules. Most recently, his work has focused on aviation projects across the country, where coordination and problem-solving are essential to keeping complex projects moving.

One project that stands out involved taking a pedestrian walkway at an international airport from early concepts through construction. What sounded simple on paper, a quarter-mile-long walkway, required navigating major utilities, an active tunnel, busy terminal connections and two different building designs. Working closely with the project team through those challenges reinforced the kind of coordination Steven enjoys most.

Originally from North Texas, Steven attended Texas Tech University before making his way west to Phoenix, where the desert quickly became home. He continues to find inspiration in the landscape, often photographing Arizona skies and desert details.

Outside the office, you’ll find Steven spending time with his family and their animals, volunteering with organizations like Canstruction and Habitat for Humanity, or putting his self-described “uncanny” sense of direction and map-reading skills to good use.

Welcome to the team, Steven!
