FROZEN WATER - We've gotten a lot of rain recently with little consequence but yesterday that rain turned to golf ball sized hail and really made a mess. In a matter of 15 minutes the micro-burst came through I-17 and Peoria, hit our shop and turned the area into a war zone. All our CSR's had hail damage in addition to tree limbs coming down on their cars breaking headlights, mirrors and moldings. Thankfully, no one was hurt and Best Glass will be replacing their broken glass post-haste. If you were in the area and need help with broken glass, give us a call.

It’s one of the first questions homeowners ask when planning a bathroom remodel—and there isn’t one price that fits every shower.

The size and configuration of the enclosure, glass thickness, frameless vs. framed design, hardware, glass type and installation can all affect the final cost.

In our latest article, Bob explains what really determines the price of custom shower glass, where you may be able to save, and what to consider when setting your budget.

If a new shower is part of your remodeling plans, this is a good place to start.

Can you drive with a cracked windshield?

Sometimes—but that doesn't necessarily mean you should.

Bob recently had a customer notice a rock chip and plan to stop by Best Glass for a repair later that day. Unfortunately, the chip spread before they made it in.

What might have been a simple repair became a full windshield replacement.

After more than 35 years in the glass business, Bob's advice is simple:

Don't panic, but don't ignore it.

Arizona heat, temperature changes, potholes and everyday driving can cause windshield damage to spread unexpectedly. And a cracked windshield can be more than a visibility problem—your windshield is an important part of your vehicle's safety system.

Read our latest blog to learn when a cracked windshield may be unsafe to drive, when damage may still be repairable, and what Arizona drivers should do next.
