A vanity that reaches past the wall and holds its line.

The master bath is built around a custom floating vanity in Etimoe veneer, its long, ribboned grain running across the fronts and giving the room its warmth. The vanity cantilevers past the end of the wall, extending into the room with nothing beneath it, so the casework appears to hover above the floor.

Seen in the shop, the full run comes together before finishing, with the grain matched across doors and drawers so the figure flows from one face to the next. Installed, it anchors the space while the open floor below keeps everything feeling light.

From raw cherry in the shop to a seamless fit in the kitchen.

As part of this home’s remodel, we built a new surround for the refrigerator. Crafted in cherry, it was stained to match the existing kitchen cabinetry so the new work reads as if it had always been there.

In the shop, the bare cherry shows off its grain before finishing. Installed, the surround frames the refrigerator and integrates the adjacent storage and appliance opening into one clean, continuous piece.

New work, made to belong.

Guest baths that float, with storage worked into every run.

Stained cherry carries through these guest baths, tying them back to the library bookcase in the same home. The vanities are wall-mounted and floating, leaving the floor open beneath and keeping the rooms light.

Open spaces are built into the casework for towel pull-outs and trash cans, so everyday essentials stay within reach while the clean, flat fronts and continuous grain keep the overall look calm and composed.

Ebony grain, built around the way the room is used.

This AV cabinet is wrapped in reconstituted ebony veneer, its tight, striped figure running vertically across every face for a clean, continuous look from floor to top.

The TV sits in a custom-sized opening, framed by the surrounding casework so the screen reads as part of the design. Custom speaker grills are set into the cabinet faces, keeping the audio integrated while the dark panels add contrast against the grain. An open display niche above gives the composition a place to breathe.

A library built for the landing at the top of the stairs.

This bookcase anchors an open area on the second floor of a whole-home remodel, wrapping the corner and carrying straight into the stair opening. Cherry veneer and solid cherry hardwood, stained dark for a deep, warm tone that holds its own against the light walls and cork floor.

The open grid gives books, art, and keepsakes their own place, while staggered shelf depths break up the wall and create display ledges at the corners. A continuous base grounds the full run, and an integrated desk ties the reading nook into the same design.

From the walnut face frame to the StyleLite Lovato Oak gloss panels, every line is clean and intentional. Step closer and the fabric-wrapped slat backs come into view, softly lit from beneath and behind each shelf so the whole space glows.

Small in size, big on detail.

This guest closet, part of a larger remodel, pairs a walnut face frame with StyleLite Lovato Oak gloss panels for a crisp, modern contrast. The backs are made of individual slats, each wrapped in foam and fabric for a soft, tailored finish. Lighting runs beneath the shelves and along the back of each one, washing the fabric panels in a warm glow.

A credenza with a bold signature at its center.

Crafted in block mottled anigre, this piece carries a sweeping "bowtie" across its face in amboyna burl, outlined by a 1/4" steel inlay on either side. The doors are all touch-latched, keeping the front clean and uninterrupted. It sits on a solid maple base painted steel grey, tying it back to the bookcases in the same office.

Sharp lines, rich figure, and a design made to be noticed.

Steel and maple, coming together in the shop.

This Workshop Wednesday, we’re sharing a set of bookcases built around custom steel frames, finished in a steel-grey paint for a clean, architectural profile. Solid curly maple shelves are assembled around the steel supports, their soft figure adding warmth against the cool metal. Each unit is secured to the wall with a steel angle, keeping the leaning silhouette steady and secure.

A simple form, carefully engineered and ready for an office full of books.

A returning client, and another furniture piece made to belong.

This office credenza is framed in walnut burl, stained to match existing pieces in the room. Inside and out, the drawers and doors are finished in engineered VG fir veneer, its fine, straight grain offering a crisp contrast to the swirling burl. The whole piece sits on a custom chromed steel base, adding a sleek, polished edge.
