My hubby’s the best! Not only does he support my love of quilting but also helps make it easier. I’m working on a new pattern that involves triangles and the “official” ruler is sold out. Luckily the pattern came with a template and Jason was able to cut an acrylic ruler (instead of me using a piece of cardboard) = LIFE SAVER!

This pattern was a fun one to sew and was exciting to find a fabric in my stash that brought all the colors together (and also adding sweet little animals too). Although the baby arrived before it did. I hope it sees tons of tummy time, stroller walks and story times 💗

I’ve been busy (sneak peak of latest quilt. I LOVE circles!)! But not really with sewing, with snuggling! The kittens may all be weaned from bottles now but when I sit down they still all come over to me for pets and purrs and naps 💗

Now at Sorso Coffee, my 5 layer, cushy potholder! 10” is size, machine washable but NOT microwaveable due to the middle insulated layer. $10 each

Another tag-along work trip with my husband… this time in Nashville!
1. Coolest food hall with overwhelming choices
2. Mural at the airport that reminded me of quilting
3. Airbnb floor tile, that again reminded me of a quilting
4. A fun store in the 12South neighborhood. They use an industrial shoe sewing machine to embroider their bags!
5. A crafting reuse center that diverts materials from landfills, and also provides classes and employment for adults with disabilities!
6. My fabric choices all for just $5 (I’d normally pay $15-20 for this much material at a quilt store)
