You clean your lint trap after every load — but when was the last time you cleaned your dryer vent?
Here’s why it matters ⬇️
1️⃣ Lint builds up where you can’t see it.
Even if you empty the lint trap, fine particles sneak past and collect inside the vent hose over time.
2️⃣ That buildup chokes airflow.
When air can’t escape properly, your dryer overheats — making it work harder, wear out faster, and use more energy (aka higher electric bills).
3️⃣ It’s one of the top causes of house fires.
According to the U.S. Fire Administration, thousands of fires start each year because of clogged dryer vents.
4️⃣ You’ll notice your clothes taking longer to dry.
If you’re running two cycles for one load, your vent is begging for attention.
