Nail Pops Multiply Once the Heat Breaks
You fix one little bump in the wall and two more show up down the hall. That is not bad luck. That is your framing reacting to the temperature swing when fall finally arrives.
Where they tend to appear:
- Along ceiling seams in upstairs bedrooms
- Down the middle of long hallway walls
- Around window and door openings
- Near the top of stairwell walls
- Anywhere a previous repair was done quickly
Pushing them back in with a screwdriver does not hold. They need to be set properly, patched, and blended so the wall reads flat again under real light.
