Some things are bigger than business. Some things are born from faith, built through seasons of uncertainty & carried by a purpose you don’t always understand at first. 🤎
When I created 8:Twenty8, I had no idea what this journey would become. I didn’t know the doors that would open, the challenges I’d face or the beautiful moments I’d be trusted to be part of. But I knew the scripture that had carried me through so much.
Romans 8:28.
A reminder that God is intentional. That even when I can’t see the full picture, He’s still working. That every season has meaning, even the ones I wouldn’t have chosen.
What started as a candle business grew into something greater than I imagined. And then came Twelve:3.
Inspired by John 12:3, when Mary poured precious perfume at the feet of Jesus & the fragrance filled the house. It was more than perfume. It was love, devotion, sacrifice & the intention behind what she poured out.
And that’s when the connection became even more meaningful to me.
Romans 8:28 represents the faith that carried me. John 12:3 represents the intention behind what I now have the privilege of pouring into others.
One reminds me that God has a purpose for my journey. The other reminds me to be intentional with what I do along the way.
I want my clients to remember more than a candle or a fragrance. I want them to remember how they felt. The laughter, the conversations, the little moments that become memories.
Somewhere along the way, I realized God wasn’t just allowing me to build a business. He was allowing me to become part of other people’s stories. & I will never take that lightly.
8:Twenty8 & Twelve:3 are more than names. They remind me where my faith has brought me, what God continues to do & the intention I carry into every celebration.
I pray I never become so focused on what I’m building that I forget Who gave me the opportunity to build it.
