🏡 Looking for a remodeling contractor in Northwest Indiana who can handle more than just one piece of the project?

At Taz Home Solutions, we help homeowners take projects from an idea to a finished space — whether that means a full remodel, custom carpentry, exterior repairs, or finally knocking out that growing home improvement list.

🔨 Our services include:

• Kitchen & bathroom remodeling
• Basement finishing & remodeling
• Additions, porches & three-season rooms
• Decks, balconies & railings
• Custom built-ins, shelving & closet systems
• Cabinet installation & trim carpentry
• Flooring & tile installation
• Drywall repair, finishing & painting
• Windows & doors
• Siding, soffit, fascia & exterior repairs
• Framing & insulation
• Epoxy flooring
• Fixture installations & handyman repairs
• Custom projects that don’t always fit neatly into a category

As a general contractor, we can also help coordinate the different trades needed to bring a larger project together.

We especially enjoy the projects that require a little creativity, problem-solving and craftsmanship — the ones where a homeowner says, “I know what I want, but I’m not sure how to make it happen.”

That’s where we come in.

🏠 New Flooring Can Change the Entire Feel of a Room

Flooring does a lot more than cover the subfloor — it helps set the tone for the entire space. Whether you’re updating one room, finishing a basement, or incorporating new flooring into a larger remodel, proper installation makes a huge difference in how the finished project looks and performs.

At Taz Home Solutions, we offer flooring installation as part of our residential remodeling and home improvement services, including:

🔨 Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) & vinyl flooring
🔨 Laminate flooring
🔨 Tile flooring
🔨 Baseboard & trim installation
🔨 Flooring removal & replacement
🔨 Subfloor repairs and preparation
🔨 Flooring as part of basement, kitchen & bathroom remodels

And because flooring rarely exists in isolation, we can also help coordinate the surrounding details — trim, paint, cabinetry, drywall, doors, and other finishing work — so the whole space comes together.

📍 Serving homeowners throughout Northwest Indiana, including Porter County, LaPorte County, Marshall County, Chesterton, Valparaiso, Plymouth, South Bend and surrounding communities.

The projects in this post showcase exterior construction personally completed by Zack, co-owner and lead carpenter of Taz Home Solutions. His hands-on experience includes:

🔨 Exterior and addition framing
🔨 Covered porch and patio construction

🔨 Roof structures and overhangs
🔨 Post-frame additions and accessory structures
🔨 Siding, exterior trim, soffit, and fascia
