Orange you glad it’s fall? 😆 Say hello to Fonti Orange, just opening up today with dark orange and tangerine all on one plant. Roughly 25 inches across, flower edge to flower edge, about the size of a CAR TIRE. 🤩

Somebody asked me the other day what I’d start with if I wanted to grow something I could enjoy without it being a huge hassle. Like, where do you even start to grow your own food?
🎯 For me, it was blackberries and peaches, and these pictures are from those first harvests years ago! Three blackberries in my hand, and yes, they needed a picture because it’s dang cool to grow stuff. 😊
Now, all you seasoned gardeners already know the excitement, but if you’ve never grown anything, picking something you grew yourself is a pretty good feeling.
Nobody is born knowing how to do this, you learn as you go.
There’s plenty of bad in the world, and you don’t have to look very hard to find it. But you can make some good happen, too, even if it starts with a few blackberries and peaches in your own backyard.

Time to plant fruit trees, and berry bushes!
The best produce is what you’ve grown yourself right in your own backyard.
Now is the best time to plant almost anything, but especially fruit, trees, and berry bushes!
Fall planting gives your plants time to spread roots and get established before heat returns in the summer.
Most fruit trees require the cold chill hours to produce, and are very cold hearty.
Our citrus trees on the other hand need to be protected from cold weather so typically they will stay in a pot so you can move them in and out during temperature swings.
