A little quiet on Facebook… a whole lot happening at the drawing board! ✏️🏡

hollyman design has been busy developing custom homes in Northrim, Grandridge, Shevlin West, Idaho and Eastbourne Bend—and it’s time to share a little of what’s been taking shape.

From modern farmhouse to Scandinavian-inspired designs and mountain modern homes, these projects explore different ways to feel at home in Central Oregon. Each starts with the people who will live there, the character of the property, and the views that make it special.

One of my favorite parts of this work is bringing different styles to life while making each home feel personal. I’ve been a little behind on sharing, but I’m excited to give you a look!

Take a scroll through these designs—which style feels most like home to you?

Cabo nights.

Working, thinking, resetting a bit. Sometimes you just need a different view to get your head right.

Keep going. Stay steady. It all comes together.

Caldera Springs Lot 485. Modern Farmhouse Design. This design offers 4,200 square foot of living space, oversized 2-car garage, conversion van garage, three bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths, bunk room and plenty of outdoor living. Wonderful clients from Broken Top. Working through this design while I’m in Cabo.

Refinement is where true luxury lives.

Behind every custom home is a disciplined process—iterations, thoughtful collaboration, and a commitment to getting every line, proportion, and detail exactly right. It’s not about rushing to the finish… it’s about elevating the result.

The best clients understand this. They value the process as much as the outcome.

We’re continuing to refine this one—structural clarity coming into focus, and the vision becoming sharper with each pass.

This is how exceptional homes are created.

Home Design in the new Ironwood portion of Brasada Ranch. We are meeting this week with the clients to go over the design and discuss siting on the lot. I expect some adjustments as we fine tune the design. Always interesting to see the schematic design vs the final design. We will keep you posted.

Proof that patience, studying the work of those you respect, and genuine passion for the craft all compound over time.

This Brasada Ranch home is really starting to take shape—and it’s a great reminder that the process matters just as much as the outcome. Grateful to see it coming together, and excited for it to be featured on this year’s COBA Tour of Homes.

Stay consistent. Keep learning. Keep building. Solid Rock Builders, LLC
