Every great journey starts with someone brave enough to say "let's go." That adventurer isn't us. It's you.

We're the guide — the ones who show up with the compass, the tools, and the steady hand when the terrain gets rough. But the story? The vision, the risk, the decision to move forward when it's easier not to? That's yours to write.

At Knighton, your journey will invite you to:

Explore — You bring the vision. We help you see the path to get there.

Create — You make the call on every decision that matters. We turn it into a plan you can build on.

Elevate — You take the leap. What rises is more than a building — it's proof of the vision you set out to do.

Every adventurer needs a guide, and we're honored to be yours.

What if the housing crisis isn't about building more of what we already have?
We've spent the last two quarters reading Missing Middle Housing by Daniel Parolek and Escape the Housing Trap by Charles Marohn. Both point to the same thing: American neighborhoods lost something — the duplexes, fourplexes, and small courtyard homes that once made communities financially resilient and actually livable.
The more we dig in, the more convinced we are that great neighborhoods aren't built from the top down. They're built from the middle out!

This is what we have been thinking about. More to come.

We love working in Downtown Provo. It’s a delight to work in the heart of a historic downtown every day.

Over the past few years, we've had the opportunity to explore, create, and elevate some of the exciting spaces that make up downtown Provo!

Here are some of the projects we’ve worked on that are waiting for you downtown –

- Forge Jewelry Works
- Arlington Hall
- La Fête Wedding Venue
- Ernie's Sports Deli
- Knighton Architecture

Downtown Provo was listed on the National Register of Historic Places more than 40 years ago for a reason. These streets have stories, and we're lucky enough to help write the next chapters.
Come explore Provo with us!

Proud to have partnered with Civil Solutions Group on their new headquarters!

This is a 20,000 SQFT building with 6 units (one of which is Civil Solutions Group HQ!)

It's been a pleasure bringing this vision to life, and we're grateful for a client relationship that will continue to grow. Looking forward to see how this turns out and what we build next together!

Back to the Future, or Days of Future Past?
Either way, we’re living in it.
As a small firm, being up-to-date with tech is essential for our success. We love
how far the industry has come, and how it lets us run faster than ever before.
Some of the tech in our toolbox we’ve been loving:

● Revit: Our BIM backbone for precise construction - we couldn’t imagine the
design process without it.

● Aerro: Our one stop shop for task, time, and project management,
scheduling, staffing, and more, built by our own Thomas Shorts.
https://www.aerro.app/

● Matterport: 3D scanning that allows us to digitally capture a site during any
phase of construction.

● DJI Drones: Getting us the best aerial views for site planning, as well as 3D
scanning exteriors to aid in 3D digital recreation.

● Claude: A powerful new tool that is completely reshaping workflows and
keeping our day-to-day tasks focused, organized, and quicker than ever.

Less repetition, more creation. Thanks to quick innovation, architecture becomes a
more personal process every day, and we’re here for it.

Employee Highlight!

Big news! After a couple of years away, Van Rasmussen is officially back with the Knighton team!

We're stoked to have Van return as an Architectural Design Intern, bringing his skills and personality back to the design team.

On top of jumping back into our team, Van will also be starting at Utah Valley University (UVU) in the fall, pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture. We are excited to cheer him on as he tackles school and work.

We’re excited to have him back. Welcome home, Van!
