Valley Growing Gardens

Valley Growing Gardens is an all organic, small suburban family farm that was established in the Puyallup Valley in 2012. As always, everything is all organic.

Our mission is to educate and inspire people and their families to grow their own organic food for a healthier and more independent life. Whether you live in a small apartment or have acres of land, we are here to help you begin your journey growing organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs. We are currently in the process of developing our YouTube channel for educational purposes and gardening tips. Currently, we sell plant starts/fully rooted seedlings, and seeds.

Watermelons in a cold climate? It can be done 🌱🍉

A few simple choices can make a big difference when you’re growing heat-loving crops in shorter, cooler seasons.

Bell peppers can be a little tricky in the PNW, so variety choice really matters 🫑🌱

We like growing bell pepper varieties that have a better chance of producing well in our climate. Starting with the right plants can make a big difference, especially in places with cooler temperatures and a shorter growing season.

It’s always fun to see which varieties do best year to year.

Cold, rainy spring? Start your peas indoors first 🌱

If the soil is too wet, too cold, or the weather just isn’t cooperating, giving peas an indoor head start can make early planting a whole lot easier.

A little jump start now = stronger plants sooner.
