🤍 This isn’t just a pressed bouquet. It’s a wedding day transformed into art. 🌸

Every flower has its own beauty, but bringing them together into a preservation that feels balanced, timeless, and true to the original bouquet takes so much more than simply pressing flowers.

For Patricia’s bridal preservation, I carefully pressed delicate white orchids, roses, and smaller blooms, then reconstructed the roses petal by petal.

One of my favorite artistic touches was subtly color-correcting the roses to a soft ivory. With so many beautiful white flowers, that little bit of warmth created depth, contrast, and dimension throughout the arrangement.

Finished with soft sage-green matting and a classic brown frame, this bouquet now has a beautiful new purpose. 🤍

From something she carried for one unforgettable day to something she can treasure for a lifetime.

This is what I love most about floral preservation. Every bouquet is different, every design is intentional, and every piece holds a story that deserves to be remembered.

Did you know ripening fruit can shorten the life of your fresh flowers? 🍎

Apples, bananas, and other ripening fruits release a natural gas called ethylene, which can cause certain flowers to age and wilt faster.

💐 Flower care tip: Keep your bouquets cool, but away from ripening fruit, especially if you’re planning to preserve those special blooms!

Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference. 🌿

Ever wonder what actually goes into creating a pressed wedding bouquet? 🌸

This is ONE carnation.

To preserve it, I carefully remove the individual petals, arrange each one by hand and press them separately.

And this is only the beginning. Once those petals are properly pressed, I’ll use them to reconstruct the carnation petal by petal.

It’s slow. It’s meticulous. And it’s one of those parts of wedding flower preservation you rarely get to see.

Taking a flower apart so I can put it back together. 🌸

Follow along because I’ll show you what happens to this carnation next. 👀

Another wedding bouquet came into the studio this weekend… and this might be my BIGGEST one yet. 😳💐

Tonight, the preservation process begins.

This bouquet is packed with different flowers, textures and even a few surprises. Most of the flowers are real, some are artificial, and I’ve already discovered that a few of the blooms have actually been glued together. 👀

Since this bride wants a pressed bouquet preservation, I’ll be taking many of these flowers apart petal by petal, pressing the individual pieces, and eventually reconstructing them for her finished design.

And with a bouquet this large, there is A LOT to process. 😂

This is the part of wedding flower preservation most people never see. The finished artwork starts right here, with figuring out what every single flower needs.

Follow along because I’ll be sharing this one from bouquet → petals → press → reconstruction → finished keepsake. 🌸

Sometimes preserving a flower means taking it completely apart first.

For these memorial flowers, each bloom was carefully deconstructed, the individual petals were pressed, and then the flowers were rebuilt petal by petal.

It’s a slow, detailed process, but it allows me to preserve flowers in a way that honors their original beauty while creating something meant to last far beyond the day they were given. 🤍

This is one of the parts of memorial flower preservation most people never get to see.

From flower → petals → flower again. 🌸

Would you have guessed these blooms had been completely taken apart and reconstructed?
