We couldn't let Eli leave with the National Guard without a proper send-off. So we got together at Frankie's in Raleigh for some karting, laser tag, rides, cake, and time of prayer over this fine young man as he prepared to travel oversees. He knows he is always welcome back to the crew. He'll always be family, either way.

Elijah Lawhon has become a staple of our team, both as a knowledgable worker and as our perpetual "class clown". Eli is a born leader and rallies our troops to teamwork and cohesiveness.

It's time for him to rally his National Guard troops, though. 🇺🇸

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he heads oversees at the call of duty. Eli, we are so proud of you 🫡 and you will be missed. We will have a chainsaw and a blue TCS shirt 😉 awaiting your return. Godspeed!

Bears and snakes don't hold a candle to the ferocious beast our crew found the first day on a job in Virginia Beach. This WILD GUINEA PIG was tucked under the bushes waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting victim. Luckily the guys were able to wrestle her to the ground and contain her without getting hurt.

It's a good thing we had all these logs processed by our friends at A G Parker Lumber Company before our current job. You just never know what you're going to get into with an older log home that's not been taken care of.

This home in Carthage, NC was repaired, washed, color touched up, and clear coated (Sascho, Inc. Autumn Aspen Capture/Cascade), restoring protection and beauty for another term. We love breathing life into log homes. It's in our blood!

This beautiful log home and guest house on a working farm were greyed from years of weathering. The first order of business was to take it all back to bare wood by media blasting with crushed glass. Applied Tim-Bor professional fungicide/insecticide to protect from mold, mildew and invasive insects. Perma-Ch1nk Systems Lifeline Prelude primer, Ultra 2 water-based stain in dark honey, Advance top coat, and Check Mate 2 sealant make it look better and function as good as new again.

The owner wants to repair some of the decking using his own crew, and once finished we will be returning to wash and stain the decks & rails.

Another great compliment from a satisfied customer: he asked us to provide a quote to return and media blast/refinish a large wooden storehouse on-site. Repeat work and referrals are the best compliments!
