Here at the homestead we do three things: PRESERVE. SUPPORT. SUSTAIN.

We love irises and iris people. Any person growing named irises is basically a member of our extended family. Who will carry on the family tradition to future generations? Where will I buy plants when I'm my mom’s age?

Warms my heart to see a member of the Charlotte Iris Society out sharing the love of our favorite plant. Go Matt Liner and Sinfonia Gardens!

If you are within driving distance of Greensboro/Colfax, NC today, trust me: you need more irises in your life. ❤️

We’re set up at the big kid farmers market today! Come and see us anytime between 8:00am-2:00pm at Farm Building 2.

08/06/2026

Bare-root irises available for pickup at the farm by appointment, at our soil program in Charlotte on Aug 15, or at the Chapel Hill Farmers Market Aug 22.

We clean iris rhizomes prior to shipment in a four-step process: wash, sanitize, rinse, rinse.

How do we store irises waiting for shipment?

Old business cards taped onto 22 bulb crates containing daisy trays.

Greetings All!

Today we finished digging, washing, and organizing pre-ordered irises for this season. THANK YOU, 2026 CUSTOMERS!

If we sold out of something you were dying to have, it's time to check again. Square is now live with the finalized 2026 inventory. ENJOY!
