Okay, but can we talk about this COLOR COMBINATION?! 🤩

Chocolate buttercream, deep red flowers, forest green vines, and vintage piping. A little moody, a little whimsical, and a whole lot of personality!

I know this color palette might not be everyone's first choice, but I LOVE how it came together!

I need your honest opinion: are we keeping the chocolate brown, red, and green combo, or would you have chosen completely different colors? 👀👇

An Update from Bakes Two to Tango

I’d like to share an update with my customers. As of October 15th, Bakes Two to Tango is no longer affiliated with Seed & Sparrow Collective! I wish Seed & Sparrow and the businesses there nothing but the best moving forward!!🫶🏻

I want to be clear that Bakes Two to Tango is NOT closing! Orders are not affected! I’m simply returning to my roots and refocusing on what I love most! Creating custom cakes, cupcakes, and sweet treats for your special occasions!

Moving forward, I’ll be focusing on custom orders, deliveries, and new opportunities to share my baked goods with the community!

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported Bakes Two to Tango along the way! Your support has helped make this journey special, and I’m excited to continue doing what I love in this next chapter!

From your very first print to your very last print, you served me well.

You printed hundreds of edible images, not just for me, but for other local bakers too. Over the years, our relationship was tested. Many times I considered throwing you out the window after you decided to clog your print head just hours before a cake was due.

But what relationship doesn’t have its struggles?

Through it all, you never truly let me down.

In the end, a bad batch of edible ink took your print head and caused unrepairable damage to several other major components. After six long hours of attempting to bring you back to life, time of death was officially called at 4:47 AM on October 2, 2026.

You were more than a printer. You were a member of the bakery.

May you rest in peace.

Allow me to be vulnerable for a moment🥲

This was the first cake I ever fully decorated from start to finish. I baked it, stacked it, carved it, and decorated it!

It was for my husband’s 22nd birthday, and it took me DAYS....

I could have made a simple round cake and called it good, but apparently I’ve always been a little extra because I decided to carve an entire cake instead. And because it was for my love, I wanted it to be perfect!

Looking at it now, I can see every flaw. Every uneven spot. Every detail I would do differently. Every little opportunity to make it better.

But what I see even more is where it all started. I never planned to offer cakes in my bakery! It wasn't something I felt confident in doing.

I was figuring things out as I went, taking forever to do things that now take me a fraction of the time, and stressing over every tiny detail!

But I was proud of this cake

And honestly, I still am!

Not because it was perfect. It absolutely wasn't.

I'm proud of it because it shows that everyone starts out somewhere

Sometimes it's easy to look at where you are now and forget how much you had to learn to get there.

So here's your reminder that your beginning doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be a beginning!
