We recently wrapped up this beautiful renovation for the Harwell family in Mangham, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

After purchasing the home, the Harwells decided there were several updates they’d like to make to bring the house up to their standards and truly make it their own. After meeting with them and walking through the property, we put together a game plan and got to work.

One of the biggest issues was that the home had previously flooded. After the flood repairs were completed years ago, no chair rail had been installed to cover the cuts where sheetrock was removed and replaced. To solve that problem, we installed approximately 460 feet of chair rail throughout the house, covering all of those seams and giving the home a finished, polished look.

Once the chair rail was installed, we painted every wall in the home along with all the crown molding, baseboards, and the newly installed chair rail. We also replaced six interior doors, the front and back exterior doors, several light fixtures, and multiple A/C vent registers.

After completing the interior, we moved outside where there was still plenty of work to do. We power washed the entire home, cleaned out overgrown flower beds, and got everything ready for new landscaping. Every exterior storm window was packed with dirt, mud dauber nests, spider webs, and wasp nests. We removed all of that, cleaned the window sills, and thoroughly cleaned the windows so everything looked fresh and clear again.

From top to bottom, this was a complete transformation, and we’re incredibly proud of the final result. Most importantly, the Harwell family was thrilled with the outcome.

The Harwell family has trusted us with several projects over the years, and we’re truly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving them. Thank you for putting your trust in our team.

A homeowner recently reached out to us wanting to give her existing countertops and kitchen island a fresh new look without replacing the tile she had enjoyed for many years. After meeting with her and discussing several options, we suggested replacing the old grout with Arctic White grout to help the beautiful green tile stand out and really give the kitchen a fresh, updated appearance.

Once she decided to go that route, we looked at several grout color options together. She loved the way the Arctic White contrasted with the green tile, so that became the clear choice.

We got to work by carefully removing all of the old, deteriorated grout from the countertops, backsplash, and other tiled surfaces throughout the kitchen. After everything was thoroughly cleaned and prepped, we installed the new Arctic White grout.

As soon as the new grout started going in, we knew it was the right choice. The bright white grout made the green tile pop and instantly gave the kitchen the fresh, updated look she was hoping for. Once all the grout was installed, sealed, and cleaned up, the transformation was incredible.

Our customer was extremely happy with the finished result, and so were we. At 3 Nails Handyman, providing quality workmanship and seeing our customers happy with the finished product is what we strive for every day.

We had a lady reach out to us down in Gilbert who had an older home with the old-style single pane aluminum windows installed, like many older homes still have today. These older windows are not very energy efficient and do very little to help keep outside temperatures from coming in or your inside air from escaping.

We went out, got measurements on all the windows, and quickly got to work ordering brand-new vinyl double pane Low-E glass windows. These windows are a much better option and far more energy efficient than what she previously had installed.

Once the windows came in, we got right to work removing all the old windows and installing the new ones. After everything was properly installed and sealed back up, the transformation was unbelievable. Everything turned out great, and at the end of the day the customer was super happy — and so were we.

Here are some photos of a horse stall/barn area we recently built for a lady down in Winnsboro. With all the rain we’ve been getting lately, I’m sure her horses are enjoying having a nice dry place to get in out of the weather.

Does your old bathroom give you that “icky” feeling every time you walk into it? Or maybe your husband started remodeling it and life got busy, so the project never got finished. Well, that was pretty much the case with this bathroom renovation we just completed!

We went in, gave everything a fresh coat of paint, finished up some trim work, and brought this bathroom back to life. The customer was more than happy with the final result — and so were we!

We had a lady from Winnsboro reach out to us about some soft spots in the flooring on her back porch. She was getting worried that one of her kids may fall through, so we went out, made contact with her, and came up with a game plan to get everything taken care of.

Once we got the flooring torn up, she decided she also wanted to tie into an existing water spicket and add another one on the opposite end of the porch to make watering her flowers a little easier. We were more than happy to get it taken care of for her.

After getting the new flooring installed and everything sealed back up, she decided to go with more of a neutral gray color to help tie everything together. Once we got it all painted, it turned out fantastic. She couldn’t have been happier, and neither could we.

One of our customers reached out to us wanting to upgrade the backsplash in their master bathroom. Previously, it was just painted black drywall with a few holes and imperfections throughout. They wanted to go with tile and black grout to help tie everything together and give the space a cleaner, more finished look.

We went out, met with the customer, came up with a game plan, and quickly got to work. This project was pretty straightforward, although a little time-consuming, but the end result made it well worth it. The tile and black grout matched perfectly with the other colors and accents they already had throughout the bathroom, and the customer couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out — and neither could we.

It’s been about a week since we’ve shared a song of the day, but this is one we’ve been playing a lot on the job site lately. I highly recommend giving it a listen.

The message is simple: who else is worthy? So often we get caught up in the things of this world, letting them take our focus and attention away from what God has truly called us to. But at the end of the day, none of it compares to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. No one and nothing is worthy of our praise but Him.
