This is the very first thing you see walking into this beach cottage kitchen, so it had a lot riding on it. Pet supplies get used here more than almost anything else, but the sheer variety of baskets and bins competing for the same six inches of counter space was making the whole entryway feel chaotic.

We gave everything a real category and moved to uniform storage so everything fits. Anything that didn’t need to live in this prime spot got relocated somewhere with less foot traffic. My client walked in and said it finally felt like her kitchen again!

Most of my days are spent helping people let go in order to feel more peaceful and centered in their lives.

When I drive away after a session, they get to enjoy their home in a new way. They find they have more time to focus on what matters to them most - the people (and pets!) and places they love, more free time to enjoy the world, more time to be invest in themselves and others.

I feel so blessed to be able to give that to my clients every day!

I loved setting up this beverage and breakfast bar in my client's new Manhattan Beach home! Everything they reach for in the morning stays out and visible, so there's no decision-making before 8am. It's a good reminder to set spaces up to accommodate you and your routines. It's YOUR home and the setup should reflect your specific needs.✨

If your adjustable pantry shelves have stayed in the exact same spot since move-in day, this is your sign to review and edit! Adapting the shelf height to fit the category lets you maximize the full extent of the space. This is especially helpful for taller items like oils or stacked canned goods.

For the sheet pans and cutting boards on the bottom, I used the 4-sort dividers from The Container Store to store them vertically. Standing them up this way makes grabbing the right one so much easier, and it’s also satisfying to look at. ✨

A tiny but helpful tip! It gives dirty dishes somewhere to go during the party and reduces visual clutter, giving you more time to focus on your family and friends. Worth noting in my experience: This also includes remembering to 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 the dishwasher in time to empty it before guests arrive. ☺️

This cabinet finally has room to breathe!

We edited down anything duplicate or expired, then gave what was left a dedicated home. Acrylic bins with handles offer easier access for smaller items, but otherwise this cabinet didn’t need a bunch of organizing products - just a little time and energy.

If you can’t see it, you’re probably not using it. Is it time to declutter your oils and spices?

Decluttering sounds easy enough, but the majority of people really struggle - especially if the item is new, valuable, useful or nostalgic.

Here's are some simple open-ended questions you can ask yourself if you feel stuck.

-If I saw this in a store today, would I buy it again at full price?
-Am I keeping this because I love it, or because I feel guilty getting rid of it?
-Does this item still fit the life I'm living now, or the life I used to live?
-If I only had one box to save from this room, would this make the cut?
-If I pass this down to my kids one day, will they want it?
-What's the worst thing that happens if I let this go and later wish I hadn't?
-Am I keeping this "just in case," and if so, how many years have I said that?
-Does it earn its keep (does it serve a purpose or provide happiness)?
-Is this something I'm keeping for someone else's approval, not my own?

Letting something go doesn't erase the memory attached to it. The object was never actually holding onto that for you.

That's what simplicity really looks like: keeping what earns its spot and making peace with the rest. 🌷

Grab a coffee, this transformation took four days and I want to walk you through all of it!

👉 Day 1: My client is a creative, and she hadn’t opened some of these boxes in a long time. Craft supplies were stacked three or four layers deep. We started on the left side of the garage and sorted through everything, editing down to what she actually uses.

👉 Day 2: We’d made real progress by then, so the goal shifted to reaching that back wall! Rolling racks gave us temporary aisles so we could keep working without losing what we’d already sorted.

👉 Day 3: We made it through that entire long wall. All that was left was one back corner and a cubby cabinet.

👉 Day 4: We tackled that corner first, then built out the final layout. An old wood shelf came out, and two rolling racks went in along the perimeter instead.

The result is one clear aisle that gets her to any supply in seconds. She is thrilled, and honestly, so are we! What a rewarding project. ❤️

I often find myself organizing kid's art supplies in September after the summer is over. It always feels good to do this, like I'm giving the kid's some brand new inspiration to create.

For this client's child, paint tubes got their own bin, and the loose caps and sponges finally have a spot instead of rolling around free. Creating homes for things is just as needed for glitter and crayons as it is in the pantry!

When organizing art supplies, remember to give them a home the kids can reach and put back themselves. It cuts down on the mid-project treasure hunt. Unless of course you have a toddler, in which case - the higher the better! 😂

Every taper candle in this house used to be scattered across three different drawers. Now they all live together in one spot, along with the placemats and table runners.

👉 Pro tip: sort by category before you decide where something goes. Once everything is grouped, the right home becomes obvious.

Which drawer in your house still needs this treatment?
