My Syngonium Albo, friends. 🪴 She was looking like a hot mess. So, I gave her a haircut and shaped her back up! I let the cuttings callous overnight. Don’t be afraid to chop and propagate your plants!! 🔪🪴🔪

If you look closely friends, you will see the water on the edge of my plants. Those droplets are called guttation. 💧It is an indicator of a healthy, hydrated and active root system. It is common on Alocasias, Philodendrons, Pothos, and Monsteras. 🪴💧🪴

During the Fall/Winter, our plants watering needs change and overwatering can happen really fast. Before watering- check the weight of the pot. Check the soil with a bamboo skewer to see how wet the soil is. Allowing our plants to dry out between waterings, helps our root system to remain healthy and be less susceptible to root rot. 🪴

Friendly reminder friends , check your propagations.🪴Even when we do all the right things, sometimes it doesn’t go the way you planned. The good thing is that you can start all over again. Don’t give up and keep going!!
🪴 Happy Planting 🪴
