My kids are 16, 14, and 11 and "hard" is relative to each kid and their personality, but these are some challenges I've given my kids this summer.

There are dozens more they'll need to do before college in a few years, but this is good for now.

What would you add to this list?

We finished our Pax closet last weekend and I've been making excuses since about why I can't get it organized.

I don't have enough time, I don't have the right baskets, I need to edit my clothes... But enough is enough.

In between chauffeuring my kids around while they live their best lives, I'm going to do what I can with the chunks of time I have -- otherwise it will never get done.

So today, I'm tackling my shoes. Except I ran out of room. Do I get rid of shoes or get two more shelves?? Help me decide.

We're heading into week 2 of this master closet makeover. Last weekend we removed the old flooring and shelves and then installed the new floor.

During the week I stained, painted, and finished the floor, which needs to dry for 3-5 days before we install the closet system.

Summer snacking was hitting this small pantry hard. Luckily, it only took a few minutes to reset this space. Don't get caught thinking you need to do a major overhaul of a space all the time -- often just a few minutes can make a big difference!
