Got clutter?!

This long-time client of JOTJ’s recently moved into their mountain home and realized they have more stuff than they thought! IKEA’s re-designed PAX system was the perfect solution - super impressed with how quickly these go together (saving $$ on labor) and how much you can store in them!

The finished product might not be much to look at, but these folks were without water due to a cracked pipe (yes, it happens even in warm-ish weather) and JOTJ was able to squeeze them in same day to get water back to the house!

$6,000 for labor ONLY for a powder room remodel??? 🤯 That’s what this client was quoted! We talked with the client to see what was most important to her and were able to provide her:

✅ New floor
✅ New toilet
✅ New vanity and mirror (*mirror on back order 🤦🏻‍♂️)
✅ New lighting
✅ New vent fan

All for under $4,000…that includes all materials, supplies, and labor. ALWAYS get multiple quotes and references when hiring someone to complete work on your house.

Back from vacation and got this nice 15x15’ roof put up over an existing deck. Nothing fancy, but does the trick!

Now THAT’S a shed! This customer not only needed a space for their riding lawn mower and garden tools but also for all their storage items. A gambrel style roof is a great choice for this as it gives you a ton of storage up top, and the log siding the customer chose is a great match to the house. This was a fun one!

Talk about a transformation! JOTJ took this “room” from useless to clean and bright! Even did some “future proofing” with running extra electrical and plumbing for a future garage conversion.

All set for the homeowners to add their own splash of paint on the walls…

Now THAT’s a deck! JOTJ recently completed this 60x16 deck using high-end TimberTech PVC decking, joist tape across all joists to prevent rot, extra blocking and joists for future hot tub, and 100% hidden fasteners for a clean look.

Shout out to Devil Belly Fabrication & Welding for finishing it off with a custom railing and lighting!

Hang 20 pictures perfectly spaced and level?! No problem! This laser transom works great not only for decks, sheds, and tiling, but for the simple tasks like hanging pictures.

Deck posts should never be put INto the ground - always above ground on concrete piers and code-approved brackets. This post barely lasted 10 years in the ground!

JOTJ was able to temporarily support the deck, remove the rotted post, pour a cement footer, and get a new post installed on a bracket. No more rot!

Sometimes the small jobs can make a huge difference! This split rail fence really sets off the space and creates a nice visual against the firepit and grill.
