Monday morning is here, and none of us like that, I know.

One thing we all don’t like, is junk laying around the house, basement or garage. Clutter in this room, that room, and beyondddddddd (in my best Toy Story voice of course). Happy Monday everyone, hit the snooze and go back to bed. Sounds tempting I know.

Mother Nature is starting to cool down, which means our time to get those last minute shed tear downs in, is coming to an end. Hot tubs removal is also going to end soon so if you got one you’re looking to remove, time is ticking as they say.

I know it’s been a couple weeks since we posted an update, and for good reason. For the last two weeks we have been extremely busy, lifting things up, and putting them down.

From last minute hot tub and shed removals, to complete house cleanouts, our team has been cranking 6 days a week. Football is back or we would be working 7 days a week.

On today’s schedule we have a commercial apartment cleanout, a shed removal, another commercial cleanout and some random items from a garage. Oh and then we have 7 dumpsters to pick up and drop off.

Did anyone else hear that loud noise yesterday around 3:30? Sounded like someone dropped a ton of change all over the ground. Like an old slot machine dropping quarters out of it like it had a malfunction.

We may of been the only ones who heard it because it was a box of silver quarters, dimes and 50 cent pieces we found for a customer. While cleaning the house a box broke open on the bottom and it was all wrapped change from the 50’s/60’s. That means it’s 90% silver coins and worth a lot of money. I looked up the values of silver coins on coinflation.com and holy ****. Silver dimes are almost $5 each, quarters are $12 each and half dollars are $24 each. The customer had over $250 in face value, which means she had over $12,000 in silver coins buried in a box, in an attic. These are the cool

Needless to say the customer was very excited to have found these and plans to use it for her child’s college tuition this year.

I’m sure everyone knows we demo sheds, right? Well we also do one of type of removals that are not as typical, as a shed tear down.

The customer at this job wanted to remove just the top of the structure, and leave the bottom of the deck as is. Over grown trees, soft roof, and bees definitely didn’t make this fun. In about an hour we had this removed, loaded and onto the landfill. Customer was super happy and grateful we were able to do it. Apparently other companies just said no. We don’t even know what that word means in the junk business. At home, that’s different and I know what it means.
