This is not a drill! Temps will be in the 30s overnight so take some precautions to protect your plants:
- cover any plants you’d like to preserve just a little longer.
- bring in veggies, harvest fruit, and pick any cut flowers for one last bouquet.
- place potted planters in the garage (including mums!).
- give your perennials some love with a deep water and some mulch!

This will be the first of many frosts/freezes as the fall season continues. Now for next year’s garden planning!
