Pull tired annuals, shake out old roots and debris, and clean up the pots you want to keep for next season. A little attention now makes spring planting much easier — and helps protect the containers you invested in.

Not quite ready to put everything away? Fall mums, cabbage, kale and seasonal accents can stretch those pots a little longer before winter takes over.

Our most popular winter workshop is back.

There’s something about working with fresh evergreens—the fragrance of cedar and pine, the texture of the branches and the simple pleasure of creating something beautiful with your own hands.

Looking for a fresh way to spend time with family over the holidays? Bring your mom, daughter, sister or a group of friends to TLC’s Classic Porch Pot Workshop. Gather in the greenhouse, laugh over ribbon choices and make a holiday memory together.

Michelle will guide you step by step as you create a lush porch pot using premium fresh winter greens, birch, pinecones, berries, red-twig dogwood and seasonal accents. Choose the ribbon you love, and we’ll help you finish it with a custom bow—so every arrangement has its own personality.

Your arrangement will be created in an 8-inch paper mâché pot that can be displayed as-is or dropped into a favorite outdoor planter at home. All materials are included, and no experience is necessary.

The photos show just a few of the possibilities. Your finished porch pot will be uniquely yours—and ready to welcome family and friends all winter long.

Workshop fee: $60

Classic Porch Pot sessions are offered from November 20 through December 5. Visit our website and open the Calendar of Events to see all available dates and the complete Winter Workshop schedule.
