Hello sweet friends! 🍁🍂📖☕️☀️🫶🏻
October has been fabulous for us here in southeastern NC! Loving it💙🫶🏻

Sometimes we walk through a dry spell and often feel as if God is not there as He once was. It might be that the noise of the world has taken over.

It’s a matter of choosing to turn that worldly volume down. Get away from distractions and seek Him in a quiet place. He is still there.

He never leaves us nor forsakes us. We allow the world to seep in too much often times.

“Yet the Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.” Psalm 42:8

Sing His praises day and night! It will surely draw your spirit back unto God and give you that peace only God can give.

Hello sweet friends! ☀️📖☕️🍁🍂💙🫶🏻
Rise and shine!!! It’s a new, glorious day in the Lord!

“The wilderness and the desert place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.” Isaiah 35:1

The conditions in a desert make it extremely hard for anything to bloom but somehow the cactus find the nourishment they need to bloom and thrive.

Believers are to do exactly the same thing.

Thrive in the wilderness.

There will be times of hardship. Take it from me, no one is immune to trials and tribulations. NO ONE.
When all seems lost and friends are not truly friends…
When life seems unbearable at times…
When you think you have taken all that you can possibly take…
There is God!

Just as a cactus stores up what it needs in order to bloom; we too, have been given provision from God to store up like the cactus!

He gives us His Holy Word. Storing it up in our hearts and minds will soon give way to bright new blooms.
Brighter days are ahead. Remember: This too shall pass.

A believer’s life of study and prayer builds the foundation we need to survive in the desert places of life and blossom.

So when the going gets rough and life gets tough; BLOOM ANYWAY!!!

Hello sweet friends! 🍁🍂☕️📖☀️💙🫶🏻
Such a peaceful morning. The sun shining in through the window and I am cozied up with a fall throw, coffee and especially Jesus!

“I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and prayers. Because he has listened to me, therefore I call upon him as long as I live.” Psalm 116:1-2

It’s in the toughest moments of life that we experience the struggle between evil and good. Spiritually we struggle; trying to walk by faith yet our emotions try to reel us into despair and worry and often times anger.

Satan is lurking for that crack to squeeze into. Waiting for us to break.

If we will just call on the Lord in hard times and in good times; making it a point to be the first thing we do then God will incline his ear to hear us and to help us.

“Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yes, our God is merciful.” Psalm 116:5

“The Lord preserves the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.” Psalm 116:6

At our lowest and our highest moments, call on God!

As long as I live, I will call on God! This is my solemn vow.

This nip in the air hear is just what I prayed for! Love this fall season!!! Thank you, Lord!

Daily we have a choice; walk in the flesh or walk in the Spirit.

The struggle is real.

but….

The answer is true!

Choose God daily.

Not just on Sunday, but every day with every breath.

The moment you say “I’ve got this,” is the moment Satan is lurking around for.

Dependency on God is not weakness. It takes strength to deliberately choose to listen to the Spirit.

Choose wisely today, sweet friends.
