At High Point Tree Service, every cut is backed by planning, precision, and purpose.

This 60-foot mature pecan tree stood over an exceptionally beautiful, high-value home where there was no room for error. Several hazardous limbs required removal, making precision rigging the safest and most controlled method for protecting the home, surrounding landscape, and the tree itself.

Through advanced rigging techniques and calculated load management, every limb was carefully lowered to the ground with complete control. This level of work demands experience, technical skill, and a commitment to doing the job the right way—not the easy way.

At High Point, we believe exceptional tree care is built on science, not shortcuts. Our approach combines modern arboriculture, proven industry standards, and science-driven tree care to protect the trees you value and the properties you cherish.

Not every hazardous tree is damaged by a storm.

This tree had to be removed after extensive trunk decay developed from an old pruning wound that never closed properly. Over the years, decay spread internally, leaving the tree structurally compromised even though it still appeared healthy from the outside.

Every pruning cut matters. Proper pruning helps trees compartmentalize wounds, reduce decay, and stay structurally sound for years to come.

At High Point Tree Service, we're committed to science-driven tree care that protects both your trees and your property. 🌲

🌲 Every cut tells a story.
What you see is one of our climbers making a precise cut high in the canopy. What you don't see is the knowledge and attention to detail behind every decision.
Before every cut, we evaluate the tree's biology, structural integrity, growth habit, and long-term health. Every pruning cut is made with a purpose—not just to remove a branch, but to improve the tree while maintaining safety.
We also take extra steps to help protect our customers' property by minimizing excessive sap bleed from fresh pruning cuts, helping keep driveways, patios, and surrounding surfaces cleaner after the work is complete.
At High Point, we follow ANSI A300 pruning standards and modern arboricultural practices because professional tree care is about more than operating a chainsaw—it's about understanding the living organism you're working on.
Science drives every cut. 🌲

🌳 Did you know trees can actually "talk" to each other?

Beneath the soil, tree roots form partnerships with beneficial fungi called mycorrhizae, creating what scientists often refer to as the "Wood Wide Web." These underground networks allow trees to share water, nutrients, and even chemical signals that can warn neighboring trees about drought, insects, or disease.

In many forests, older "mother trees" help support younger trees by transferring resources through these fungal connections. It's a fascinating reminder that healthy trees don't just grow above ground—they rely on an entire ecosystem below the surface.

At High Point Tree Service, we look beyond what you can see. Understanding tree biology, soil health, and root function allows us to make better recommendations that support long-term tree health and structural integrity.
